There are many variations to a nuke and different play styles and situations require different things to counteract them. You would be better off reading some guides in the general forum(there is a topic there called "Guide Library", read it).

On the other hand, you could just build 20000 spears, that's always good...

But maybe he was clearing a village for Pure Off? Since we have established in a previous thread some people mix def with their first village. Not that i agree with this :icon_rolleyes:
By the looks of the player he doesn't look too bad so I'm sure he doesn't structure all his nukes like that :icon_wink:

But either way, it's still a waste.

No specific nuke build. Just go from around 7-9K axe, 2-3K LC, 500- whatever MA, 224-300 ram, 10 cats is the standard nuke by my play style :icon_cool:

If what you say is true then why would he send his OFF troops? If he was "purifying" then he could've kept the axes, LC and rams where they were and just killed off the DEF troops. Or if going for a DEF village, sent only the OFF troops this looks like a legitimate atk.

as edward says about nukes mine is similar in build and style

mine normally incorporate 200 odd scouts to normally get a report

i said i was not making excuses/knowing the reason he sent it.

Just trying to give a valid reason why he would. And i'm sure he meant to do some damage with sending off :icon_wink: Especially since pluto + T-S are so close together and if you check out the cheese and -F- thread, they are talked about in there.

I like for a normal nuke.

250 rams.
150 cats.
2900 L/C
5 scouts.
the rest axe

Depending on how far into the game you are, maybe a noble in there or not.

It totally depends on how big you are, and what is around you as well, and if your tribe does cat Op's

I haven't played early world for a while, my mid/late world nukes are 6088axe 3300lc 50sc 250ram 10cat, fast build, good strength, ma are a waste of time once the world progresses :icon_rolleyes:

Build specialised nukes later for specialised defences ie high lc for cat stacks etc

Just out of interest Star, why do you use CAT's in a nuke, I am assuming maybe to stop a dodge and hit the rally point? Or..? You do know they have no offensive ability :(

Aye and I think it be 7 cats to take the rally point out, I use 10 cos it makes the nukes look smexier :icon_cool:

When you use cats in order to damage the rally point, 10-15 of them are enough. But you may use them to downgrade the wall. If you want this, you recruit 100-150 of them in every nuke. That's very important when you attack stacked villages, cause the earlier you downgrade the wall, the less nukes you lose.

MA are more useful when it gets into the world what the hell are you talking about.

Archers are a bitch to take out without MA in any stage of the game. They don't suddenly get weaker later on in the game. 500 MA included into any nuke will pwn the archers and save considerable amount of troops in the process. :icon_neutral:

Nope - it's impossible to have a perfect nuke. It always depends on the opponements defansive troops.
I use to have around 5 different nukes when I get to a cetrain size...:icon_wink:

thats just a waste of time, this nuke builds fastest and its the all rounder nuke which works well with all kinds of defense

of course if you're a fanatic who has 8 different groups with 8 different types of nukes then you will be able to kill certain defenses easier but on the long run it's not worth the hassle..

The simulator is your friend :) Against sp/ar/hc or sp/sw/ar D the lc nuke is more effective ;)

Massive ar stacks require ma but a) I've never seen anyone build 20k ar D and b) Bonfire is the weapon of choice for big stacks which need high lc nukes to the point of pure

I've just simmed it and nearly every defense i have tried has either been the same as both nuke types or in MA favor.

May i ask which specific nuke builds you are putting in? I think you will be doing a more all round efficient nuke than me or just a nuke that makes up for no MA compared to my nuke :/

I like to put 650 cats in some of my nukes to help people remodel their villages. :)
