Feels like there was a 3D-ness to the last one that isn't really there on this one, though.

I did a bit of reasearch, and found a few usefull guides for GIMP. Anyway, i found a new style of map that may turn out to be very popular. i'm also just a tiny little bit away from animated maps.

I like it, and by the way, thanks for doing this Tickle. A few observations:

1. The fade to white on the bottoms of each tribe is a bit of a bother, especially inthe south where SoL and ODA join..

2. Make the animation a little slower, add a couple seconds in before each one changes.

3. Fonts don't fit with the map as the map is good quality, but the fonts just seem to be blunt. maybe add some 3D effects to them?

Thanks for the feedback. Maybe supernova Letters or add shadows?
