You're forgetting the soviets, the polish etc. USA jumped in far, far later, just ignoring their desperate allies whilst they fought to the death. They only joined after Germany was nearing defeat.

While you are flooding here (and soviets were on the way to Berlin when US decided to deploy in Normandy, who knows which side would join US if they weren't attacked by Japan?), I tried to make another dynamic map.
But I am total newb in this, I wish I knew how to make maps smooth. Also, top 10 got messed up lately; but map is still understandable.

So here's 04.02-12.02 top ~10.

Very good point. Germany was spread thin after the capture of Morocco and France.
