Opera is the only browser that contains the option of single key hotkeys. So no, you cannot do this with Mozilla's Firefox.

There is an addon for firefox that enables the keys 1 and 2 as hotkeys for changing tabs.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/single-key-tab-switch/

I am using the latest version of Firefox and it works just fine. I've been using it for at least a couple years now. Opera tab switching is inherently faster than Mozilla's FF is so it seems really laggy but it does work fine. Don't expect any great noble train speeds with this.

The thing is (i´ll try to explain since i´m not English)

I use a Internet connection in a Shopping Mall!
With Internet Explorer and Mozila if i refresh a page the internet refreshes and continues to be active...
With Opera i won´t refresh the internet connection!

And for it to work i need to refresh every 5 minutes more or less...
