Forgive me, for I have been away from TW for quite a while, but when did it become standard practice for players over 12k points to be nobling 300 and 400 pt villages??

I started on W64 late and wasn't really committed to it so have just been kicking about and seeing what transpires. One day a hapless noble comes across my path, knocking at the gates of my measly 391pt village expecting tea and crumpets!

"Must be a mistake" says I and thinks nothing further of it until a second noble shows up at my door!

I started looking into the sad state of affairs - see my mail below for further details.

Now, I'm not telling you this because I want you to get him to stop attacking me. I'm telling you this because as a veteran of the game, I know that I would be furious if I knew there was a member of my tribe wasting nobles on sub 1k villages! What has the game come to?
If he wants the village then he is quite welcome to it. I was basically just kicking around this world to see what came of it.

I may just put this on external forums and give all the real players a jolly good laugh at your expense.
Please - learn some basic skills! It will not only enhance your enjoyment of the game but will make it more worthwhile for the other players in this world.
Please pass this message on to your tribemates as I see this problem is one which is endemic of your entire family tribe.

Looks to me like they are all on their second try in this world.

it's something i have noticed alot of, not just from 12k or lower, there have been people in the 100k + region i have seen doing this,

it's disgraceful some of the excusses they have given when questioned...

...i have nothing local,
...i want to secure my region better
...i was told i could noble a 200 point bonus

you people need to rethink your game plans here, hell just in general these actions make you look weak and in many cases a bit special, it should never be accepted to noble below 2k no-matter what the situation is...

i agree with ur points but at the same time u also have to think, who is teaching these players? who is advising them on what to do, do dukes just let them do wat they want?

these questions have to be asked also

Well in my account on W64 I nobled more than 40 sub-2000pt barbs, so I kindof sympathize with them.

I guess it really depends on what your goals are - if you're just playing a casual sim-city style game then little barb villages are all you need. I don't get why you would noble a 400pt player village though.

Some people must really like that first week of game play where you do nothing but build up a village.
