Quick question about spiking

Hey, i was wondering, if you spike a barb or an inactive player village, do your troops still get the religious bonus assuming the barb/player you're spiking is within your church area?

Your troops are religious if they are in an player village with a church, that means inactive player villages as well. Barbarian villages don't have a church and hence you get a penalty for that. So don't spike the barbs

Barbarian villages are ALWAYS religious.

Yeah, I don't think there's a religious penalty for spiking barbarian villages. So let's spike them greys!
