When people mention their troop : point ratio, where are they getting their numbers from? Is it from the troop population in the farm menu? Or does each troop count at 1 point? Or does each troop type have a different point value?

You multiply the amount of axes by the number i.. Then plot the daily increase in axes, followed by deriving the dy/dx of said graph.

Should come up with an answer in the form: F'(x) = such an such

It's from troop population from the farm.

so if you have 2.000 troop population and have 1.000 points, then you have a 2:1 for troop:point ratio.

This is the correct answer, but more important is to stress that such ratios are meaningless.

The goal is to make buildings and troops - constantly. All troop ratios tend to do is encourage people to stop making buildings to raise their ratio despite that doing so doesn't actually allow them to make troops any faster than if they were making both troops and buildings constantly.
