I was feeling nostalgic again.
It's harbinger297 again, by the way. Yeah, a lot has changed over the years.
I wanted to see if anyone I remembered from this world was still around, and leave a little post here just in-case anyone sees it. I would love to reconnect, catch up on Discord, just... see how everyone is doing these days. Talk about the old days. You know.
I had a brief look through a few of the old names from TWStats and wrote down some thoughts. This doesn't include everyone of course, I had many more friends that I met throughout the years, but, these were the ones who immediately stood out to me. If you ever see this, please drop a message. I'd love to chat again, even if only briefly. Even if only just once.

O Captain My Captain
The one who brought me into FRST and the first time I ever co-played an account. Back when FRST was just a fledgling little tribe in a very big world. It was years since we spoke, back when even that was years ago.
Pepe585
When OCMC stopped playing, I went on to play with Pepe for awhile. I think this was around the 50 village mark or so? It wasn't a particularly big account but if I recall, it was positioned right on the frontlines and saw a lot of action. I hope you're doing well out there, wherever you are.
TriaI
I think I took a break from TW and came back and when I did, I jumped on with TriaI. A good friend and a pleasure to play with, I wish we could chat one last time. I miss those late night Skype chats. You were solid emotional support back when I was in a very turbulent time. I wish we had kept in touch but if you ever see this for some reason, message or look me up! I'd love to chat again. You were a good friend, and it's only in my later years that I realise how precious that truly was.
Hax0r/d daddy
Where to even begin. Such a great friend and proof to me that online friendships are just as real and valid as anything. I'll never forget those late night Skype drinking sessions, which were somewhere between egotistical trash talking about our enemies or some kind of emotional therapy session together. I miss you. I'd give anything just to chat to you one last time.

The bears. I mean, there's not much to say. Who didn't love them? They were the glue that held FRST together for so long and even more than that, they both provided so much support to me. They would let me vent to them, complain, whinge about things, and were just such wonderful people. Wherever they are now, whoever is around them is blessed to call them friends. I hope you both are doing well, I really do.
DelBorgo
What a character, he never failed to make me smile. His energy was infectious and he always had a positive attitude. What I wouldn't give to see his relentless emoji spam once again.
Bobble611
Always a stable rock when I would get upset or let things affect me, his calm presence (and ability to clap-back at people while doing so) was always inspirational. I was young when I was super absorbed in this game, the forums, the drama, etc, but he was very good at keeping me grounded and bringing me away from getting too into it all. I never said thank you for that so I guess I'll say it here. Thank you, truly.
Uncle Fester
Again, just such a pleasure to play with and a great attitude. The most 'big brother' vibes I ever got. I hope you're doing well.

I would have to say the best defender we ever faced on this world. We organised massive, outnumbering ops with tens of thousands of fakes, nukes, etc etc and it was all seamlessly and smoothly handled. He showed me that you can be enemies with someone and still respect them, appreciate them, learn from them, even be friends with them, and it was a lesson that I took forward in life in general. He also made me realise that I really do suck at this game, as much as I loved it.
tribb
Ah tribb. Tribb was always fairly quiet, actually, despite having the rank 1 account and all that. I took over it when he left but it was already a successful account, I pretty much just managed it from there. I went through a lot of IRL stuff and I think I either handed it over or let it barb; I think I might have set someone as an account sitter and then quit, but without the login info they couldn't *actually* do anything with it so they had to internal it? Not sure what happened after that, but that was well after the war was all but over. Either way, it left a huge impact on me and it was a unique experience that I won't forget, all thanks to you.
waldo06
I think I remember us arguing about a bunch of random stuff back in the day, if I recall correctly. But I also remember having a lot of good times too. I suppose sometimes that's how friendships go, and I think we were definitely the up and down sort. Hope you're doing well out there.
HorseSoldier
Now we're stretching back a bit. I do remember HS being a fun guy to be around, and also doing well at calming me down at times and keeping my grounded. That... needed to happen more than I would care to admit.
The Dark Beast
I remember DB actually being quite beastly back when we played. Generally put the war in tribal wars, if I do so recall. I think he was always eager to claim targets and get amongst it all.
Beatojes
Jess. I miss you! We freakin' met IRL and got smashed at the casino together with those absurd cocktails. I really wish we'd stayed in touch. Who knows, maybe you'll see this but, knowing you, you're out partying somewhere, living life to the fullest and probably don't even remember that night we had. I do though, and it always brings a smile to my face. That... sounds like we banged, but no, it was just two couples having fun together. That... doesn't make it sound any better-you know what I'm just going to leave it there.
BluE WicKeD HeaRT
Oh Blue, our Skype chats were something else. You were such a personality and I loved it, so hype and energetic and just great. I loved the LighT. guys in general, and I was always the one pushing to take Blue and Dhk into FRST. GIVE THEM TO ME I WANT THEEEMMMM-
Hope you are well out there, old friend.
General MacLean
We got into some real talk, back in the day. I mean, we were game friends but also, we vented to each other and kind of supported each other through some dark times. I wonder where you are now, and I hope you're doing okay. We both went through some hard times, I hope you made it through it all.
homelessjimmy
Ah Jimmy. What else can I say but, I miss you. Back in the day, you, me, Andy, all just drinking and talking absolute rubbish over Skype at 4am. I never thought at the time that those would be core childhood memories but... well, that's what they became. I hope wherever you are now things are better for you than they were back then.
Everyone else
I started playing this game as a young teenager. I'm turning 30 this year. I played multiple worlds but the people on this one left the strongest mark on me. I miss you all, I'm sure there were 'better' worlds technically through the years but to me, W43 will always be home and you all gave me that feeling when no-one in my actual life would, so thank you all. I miss those days. Not the IRL time I spent during those years, but the time spent here, away from all of that. With you.
