Seasonal speeds 2012

To coincide with this year’s attack breaks, we’ve got some special treat rounds lined up.
Pit your wits against other players this Christmas for a bit of high-paced action in the Christmas and New Year speed rounds.

It’s a race against time to grab as many villages as you can before the timer runs out and the rounds end, and the top player from each round will win the right to use a special forum title in the coming new year.

About sleep mode.
In rounds lasting more than 24 hours, a sleep mode is usually active. This is to allow you to get some rest safe in the knowledge that your account will not be destroyed during the sleep mode. When an account is in sleep mode:

Villages will appear with a black dot on the map
Arriving attacks will turn into “visits” and no damage will be done while the sleep mode is active.
Your account is inactive and you cannot do anything or send attacks.

Go to Settings > Sleep Mode before your sleep mode begins, in order to customize your settings within the round restrictions. In the Christmas and New Year rounds, the following sleep mode restrictions apply:

  • Minimum awake time of 10 hours
  • Maximum awake time of 18 hours
  • Minimum sleep time of 6 hours
  • Maximum sleep time of 12 hours

The minimum/maximum awake times show the limits between which your account must remain awake (active/attackable) before it can enter sleep mode. If your account will still be awake after the maximum awake time, it will be automatically put to sleep and there is nothing you can do to prevent this.

Example: if you begin “awake” mode at 00:00, your account cannot go to sleep again before 10:00, and it will be put to sleep automatically at 18:00 if you have not already started sleep mode.

The minimum/maximum sleep times show the limits between which your account must remain asleep/unusable before it can wake up and be active again. If you have not set a lower sleep time, your account will automatically wake up after the maximum sleep time, and there is nothing you can do to prevent this.
