Short History of World Two

This is from my perspective as Vigrade, and I used to play this world. Was in continent 44. Haven't played TW in a long while. But it needs to be done. IT was fun.

1. World Starts. Lots of World one vets come over
2. Farming is an unknown concept. Splinter tribes start up that are composed of world one vets, Death something, Onitank, Jester too I think.
3. Tribes grow.
4. Hatred becomes top rival to other top tribe Flop Turn River, hatred managed up by Zanda and Hated (or some namer derivation).
5. FTR wins, largely in part to a back stab by Kr1ja and some other goings on.
6. I help form up HOT|W, which becomes Hot|Nw (holy order of truth, north west.
7. Meanwhile, in the south, XiG is growing. Bolaar, my favorite player, is growing in the west. FTR strangleholds the center, ATEn is tiny, Wolves in the northwest is growing as well.
8. I think there was some war in between, maybe against RB (?)
9. The big world war is about to start. Some nonsence over someones account who I cant remember, who flipped sides from FTR to Xig.
10. Xig beguns curb stomping FTR, taking a ton. Lots of good players, including their leader Warhawg.
11. Hot joins FTR, as does some other tribes. ESL joins Xig, and later does bolaar.
12. Wolves joins up with the center alliance, attacking the new Xig.3. In the southeast, some tribe by junkmonger is growing. Aten is also eating up Esl. I think aphopis1 gets crushed up in here too.
13. bolaar keeps fighting, but exits the war eventually.
14. Not sure who wins in the end, war comes to a stop, I think Xig ends up down.
15. interim.
16. Xig and Wolves join up together into CEG, basis for world 8 tribe, and declare war on everyone.
17. Tribe is very discombobulated, no one trusts eachother, eventually resplitting apart, Aten is growing bigger as well.
18. I stop paying attention here really.
19. Rim tribes get eaten, Hot seems to keep growing, as does Aten.
20. War breaks out again.
21. I like bolaar
22. Intermitent war for the next years. I think we may sill be doing this.
23. New chapter here.....

You forgot to mention the Saints-Wolves merge man. Also somewhere around that time, EleAud joined aswell, which was the tribe I was originally in. I believe we joined the Saints first, then we merged with Wolves. We were prominent in K34 and expanded throughout the NW are of the world. Later we would fight Xig and so on.

- I believe that tribe was called Force? Or something such? And wasn't ESL crushed mainly due to huge inactivity problems and attacks from all sides (StW in the north, Warband and ex-CE in the south)?

14. Not sure who wins in the end, war comes to a stop, I think Xig ends up down.

- XiG could claim victory with the disbanding of FTR.

- Eh, that's just way off. CEG collapsed due to utter chaos in the leadership structure. Warhawg and Cemedia was behind the merger and quit right when it was finished, leaving a vacuum with twenty or so different leaders trying to steer the family. Without any kind of success, since it was a lot of talk and no action. Eventually, the tribes decided that localized leadership of individual branches were preferable to the gigantic council that tried to rule CEG.

HOT breaks unstable NAP with Random Blood due to RB showing too many weaknesses.

I think FTR was less prepared for a big war at this time.

ESL had a strong alliance with Xig and Smokers back in the day. So, it was only natural that they would side with Xig.

With some quick inputs, still needs a lot of work:

1. World Starts. Many World One veterans join. Farming is an unknown concept.

4. Tribes grow: Hatred, TW, FTR, XiG, ESL, Wolves, Saints, CE, CM (list needs completing)
5. Hatred and FTW forge a top of the tables rivalry. Hatred managed by Zanda and Hated (or some other name derivation)
6. FTR comes out best, largely in part due to a back stabe by Kr1ja and some other goings on.
7. HOT and ATEN form. Wolves merge into Saints. CM expands, joining a tribe called FAMILY, to become CMFAM. In the south, XiG is growing. In the north-west, Wolves are growing. Bolaar (needs more details, why is a player significant on a tribe level) grows in the west. FTR grows in its stranglehold on the center in contigency with long-term alliances with other tribes, including TW and HOT (list needs specialising).
8. HOT breaks unstable NAP with Random Blood due to RB showing too many weaknesses.
9. The big world war is about to start. Some nonsense over Asterios, who flipped sides from FTR to XiG.
10. XiG and FTR (I don't know what you mean here: do you mean conquers or tribe hoppers?)
11. HOT and TW and some other tribes join forces with FTR. ESL and bolaar join forces with XiG.
12. Wolves join the center alliance, attacking the new XiG.3. In the south-east, junkmonger is growing a tribe called Force. ATEN is eating up ESL.
13. Bolaar fights vallantly but eventually exits the war.
14. FTR disbands but ultimately XiG has lost ground on the central alliance. The war ends in Non-aggression Pacts.
15. CMFAM, a weaker global tribe in the central alliance, and SMOKER (I think) join TW, making TW more of a global force than only a central one, albiet with a lot of fat to cut, gaining many future leaders such as Lippa and dreid and powerhouses such as Modesty and Jirki. ATEN and HOT expand. Many ex-FTR members join TW and HOT.
16. XiG and Saints merge together to form CEG, the largest tribe in the history of the world, and declare war on mostly TW, HOT, CE and ATEN.
17. CE join ATEN. War goes on. CEG is very discombobulated, having a lot of trust issues and eventually splits apart into Saints and XiG once again.
18. Tension grows in the awkward status of Saints and XiG and war becomes blurred. (there is a bit of politics here that I'll try and remember as accurately as I can) Saints NAP with HOT and XiG NAP with TW. The NAPs put pressure on the alliances between TW, ATEN and HOT. HOT merge with Saints to become the global force of the world. Quickly, ATEN joins forces with a smaller tribe to match HOT's supremacy. TW and XiG merge shortly after to match these tribes.
19. HOT is disgruntled by the transformation of XiG from enemy to ally, but attention is mostly paid to the public frustration of ATEN who continue to fight Saints despite being a part of HOT.
20. Tension reaches boiling point and HOT and TW declare war on ATEN.
21. War goes on for a long time, other tribes grow in the process: EleAud (north), MPX (north-west), Force-RB (south-east), WB (south-west). EleAud join ATEN but are a minor force so this doesn't greatly affect their standing in the world, mostly just with the Saints portion of HOT. WB eventually join TW but many villages are taken by ATEN.
22. The world changes shape. HOT control a large portion of the north-west and the south-east. TW control the center and large portions of the south and the south-west. ATEN dominate the north-east and portions of the south-west. Eventually, HOT gain supremacy in the north-west second only to the globally neutral MPX. TW gain supremacy in the south-west. ATEN's north-east cluster seems impenetrable, but is slowly reciding.
23. Diplomacy takes a turn for the dramatic. The war between HOT and ATEN stops. TW continue fighting. HOT wars against Force-RB. The TW-ATEN war seems a stalemate due mostly to the distance between the south-west and the north-east, though TW are now the largest tribe in the world, similar to CEG's size and as big as the combined size of ATEN and HOT.
24. HOT and ATEN join forces and attack TW. War goes on for a long time.
25. Leadership collapses at TW with many leaders leaving (Lippa, dreid, etc) and TW splits into different tribes.
26. HOT and MPX merge to become other tribe thing yes.
27. ATEN joins TW in a war to end the world.
28. DC obviously stopped paying attention around here.

That's what I'm wondering. If I remember correctly, we pretty much wiped ESL away. They had a lot of inactive members though. The ones who did fight couldn't do much against a greater force.

Actually, HOT declared war on Aten first. All TW did was support HOT. Then for some reason, our leaders thought it was a good idea to join in the war and help fight ATEN with HOT since we were allied. Not sure why that was, since this was a fair fight between HOT & Aten, and I wanted to see which side would win. Then HOT decided to backstab TW and join switch sides and attack TW. As you can see today, HOT is no more and TW (now LWS) as re-allied with Aten to finish this war.

TW tribe didn't really split. Many members left and either joined other tribes or quit. Then we merged the members that were left into LWS (which was TW before the name was changed to LoL & then LWS.)

History of W2

Xig is mentioned profusely here in reference primarily to Warhawg's branch in the south. This might not be important to some here, but the origins of Xig was players coming to this world from the online gaming group xiGames. We came to W2 as CCX with at least 7 branches and shortly thereafter changed to Xig. Warhawg's bunch started off as a rim branch of CCX which was heavily supported by the other CCX branches.

Just after CEG was formed and declared war on the rest of the world the northern branch of Xig joined their historical ally, Aten, and Highborn's Xig branch in the south joined HOT. While some might discount these branches as not as important as the southern branches of Xig, these were large tribes in and of themselves and it was the northern Xig's branch (AtenX) joining Aten which gave Aten such an impenetrable northern safezone. Highborn's bunch also became an important branch of HOT. The splitting of CEG was not so much about Warhawg and Cemedia leaving as it was what they did before they left by declaring war on the rest of the world. We in the north had been warring with ST forever, and were completely intermingled with our Aten Allies. We were not the least bit interested in joining with our longtime enemy, and warring against the only tribe which had supported us in the past. Simply bad diplomacy and even worse leadership.

I would rewrite 16-18 like this:

#16 XiG and Saints merge together to form CEG, the largest tribe in the history of the world, and declare war on just about everyone (TW, HOT, CE and ATEN). This merge did not have the support of many of the players in both tribes. The third and fourth largest Xig tribes split off and join HOT and Aten, becoming HOT/SE and Aten/X.
#17 CE joins ATEN. War goes on. CEG is very discombobulated, having a lot of trust issues, suffers lopsided losses, and eventually splits apart into Saints and XiG once again.
#18 Tension grows in the awkward status of Saints and XiG, and war becomes blurred. A diplomatic/political whirlwind ensues. Saints NAP with HOT, and XiG NAP with TW. The NAPs put pressure on the alliances between TW, ATEN and HOT. HOT merges with Saints to become the global force of the world. ATEN has grown by absorbing CE, a northern branch of the Wolves, (AtenW), and the northern branch of Xig. TW and and the remnants of Xig merge shortly thereafter to form the third global superpower.

A history really needs to be a joint operation. Only with a lot of information from everyone can we hope to get a good account.

No mention of Rum so far. At one time they were the biggest tribe in the World. A mishmash of just about every tribe that wanted to join. I was on the high council towards the end. Philler was as well, as well as many others. Xig had merged with ME, which lasted about a week before Warhawg made one of his numerous exits. What Xig branches were left joined Rum, which had over 20 branches at the end. We were warned by Warhawg that Xig and FTR were about to declare on Rum, and Highborn and I, as well as two other Xig branch leaders left Rum and reformed a global Xig again with Warhawg.

But it's difficult, since AFAIK there's nothing left of what once was ESL/ESL2, at least not anything active.

I do remember the war between ESL and TUNA. That was very early on. Tuna had been somehow allied with CCX so we wanted to support them, but Warhawg's branch was very closely linked to ESL by that time, so I think we just napped everyone and discretely supported whomever we wanted.

First war that I participated in in this world was one between CCX, which had about 7 branches, and a tribe called FTA, or something like that. I think that they had TW backing them at the time.

I still say bring it XIG is like a 3rd world country. Trying to fight a war with someone that doesn't even find them worthy to declare a war on.


BTW whats really interesting is how your leaders ask your members not to leave the tribe just because your at war.

I do remember a tribe named Tuba. I just don't know where they where. Anyone still have contact with really old players? It would be really awesome to get a history of W2 together, as this world is coming to an end.

Yes. Xig was allied with Tuba fighting against FA. After that war tuba fought against ESL and Xig did not join in because Warghawg had a strong relationship with ESL. I believe that was the end of Tuba. It was right around that time that Rum was going strong.

The problem here is not only that most of the old time players are gone, but that hardly even any of the ones left ever visit this forum anymore.
