Rejected Skill book downgrading

Currently you have options with the paladin skill book to trade to another branch (red/ blue/ green) or upgrade to a higher level, but is it possible to add an option downgrade skill book levels? There are times when you can have too many higher levelled skill books but be missing some low level ones

This idea is rejected since it goes against the idea of skill books being hard to collect - downgrading would make it too easy.
