I havent downloaded it, but i have seen screenshots...as long as it doesnt crash constantly i wouldnt have a problem with it, asthetics are not high on my list of things that instant messengers must have.

I prefer the new one, chat's no longer lock up my skype sessions. I have been using the beta version for awhile now.
