I pressume you're being serious there. Why is that a rule? What about if it just doesn't make sense and you're trying to work out what they're saying?

You're not meant to discuss bans. But yah kdeb of briscoe wrote this:

Hello, my name briscoe and i need to help with fakes

Would it be ok to translate as such and say something like this:

I think briscoe meant: hello, my name is briscoe and I need help with fake scripts

If you know what he meant then there is no need to risk offending that person by correcting their post.
Its all well and good insulting someone based on in game play, but based on RL i.e. spelling, grammar or just a lack of understanding, it could cause real offence and that, quite rightly, is what the TW staff would want to prevent...

I think

I agree cookie but sometimes I find I have no idea what someone is saying and someone writes what they think they meant and it's very helpful

Indeed. In that case you need lots of patience and aspirin.

I know how hard it is if people's grammar don't make any sense at all. But luckily here there are few to none. yet I had to warn a couple of times for this rule. (reason why I put the rule here because I doubt all people here know about it)

No i didnt know about it.

Im constantly picking up on noobs, sorry unexperienced players, grammar and spelling mistakes.

I just do it for a laugh for them to send a couple hundred spears at me to boost my OD a little though!

For example:

The guy with 10K points:

hey,

wotz da big deel bout dis knew fake limit thing.

duz tht meen u wil stp sendin dem rams things at me

Wilbert1:

Hi,

I think you might mean

" Hello,
What is this big deal about the new fake limit.

Does this mean that you will stop annoying me by sending hundreds of rams at me daily."

If that is the case the answer is that TW are thinking about putting in a new fake limit in to prevent bigger players annoying the smaller players.

And no, it wont stop me sending rams at you daily because i will either find a way around it or just send a nuke at you filled with rams.

Thankyou for your concern

Wilbert1

P.S. Please at least attempt to get your spelling correct next time you mail me or anyone else.

Usually when i send the message i will get an attempt of being offencive in a reply with as many spelling mistakes and grammar mistakes as they could possibly find in their statement.
If im lucky i would get a couple thousand of spears to boost my OD.

Would that mean that if this example was actually real then i could get banned?

Firstly your example is an in game thing right?

I'm not sure about this rule in game, though it is still there.

On the forums however; If you get caught using someones spelling/grammar against them/in a way that might offend, then you will likely get infraction. Collect enough infractions you'll get banned for X amount of time.

Again I might be wrong, Kdeb might give the real answer if I'm wrong.

Infractions are a bans best friend... 3-5 active at once and you're out for a while.

I don't think this rule is for ingame. it is mainly for the forums
