I have played the game about 15 years now (didn't start on this account), and I would like to echo the other statements on being grateful to the return of consistent speed rounds. I've had many hiatuses from the game and each time it's always thinking about speed rounds that gets me back on the game!

As for suggestions, I do believe Pim put forward some solid ones. Just got off a Cata round which seemed everyone had defense. Which to each their own, everyone has their own play styles. Just kind of hard dealing with the late gamers with a full d-nuke when you're a solo offensive player whose been clearing their local turtles lol. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal if the proportions to off/def were more similar. However, this is more of a player's issues then something we should expect you guys to fix. Those are just ramblings from a tired guy who lost to turtles though ;).. To get to the points the suggestion would be - higher farm limits , though I wouldn't be surprised if that didn't resolve it in its entirety.

Personally, I prefer haul rounds, I like the farming aspect to the game. Otherwise, you're just sitting looking at the screen and not even pressing buttons... If it's a no-haul round resources should, in my opinion, be boosted exponentially (I believe I've seen other servers go up to %800, though I could be wrong). I hit usually 50m looted a game, no-haul rounds don't come near to this in terms of overall resource production. Which in turn would result in less playing, more looking at the screen waiting.

As a farmer, I would be remiss if I didn't ask for more barbs, and no walls on them... ohh and bigger warehouses too :p

Another suggestion which, honestly don't know if it's so much as a setting or game mechanic. But I would love troop recruitment speeds to be faster. This could also already be the case (maybe tied in with game speed and can't be separated?). If it's doable I would think this would help with the early start behemoths vs the new guys with a few villas on the rim. Make it to where they can use the troops in their few villas knowing they'll be able to make them back at the end. It would also just encourage an overall more active play style.

I suppose I've written enough lol, you guys are doing great work with the current rounds and I'm sure I can speak for everyone and say we appreciate it.

Thank you for your feedback. We have been implementing farm limits (higher = defense more effective, by the way) that typically range from 500-900 on the bash and cata rounds. As for the Haul/No Haul, I would definitely say the vast majority of our rounds are haul. We do increase resource production on the no haul as well as typically on the shorter "faster" rounds such as Cata/Bash.

Barb numbers vary (we tend to have quite a few, though!) and, as our posts will show, many of our rounds have the walls start at 0. Of course, they can build the walls up but they start as the exact same as your village. Unfortunately, Troop Recruitment is tied to the world's speed though it would be fun if that was adjustable ;)

I don't find any report from you about them? That's weird, I would've thought that before you call someone incompetent, you would've taken your own responsibility as well. :)

Note that we are banning users for abuse almost every round. However, if you don't take the effort of reporting people you suspect of cheating, then also be fair towards yourself and don't complain. We all carry some responsibility in keeping the game fair. You can't complain about something you supposedly are sure about, if you didn't bother to report it.

Next time report it.

That is interesting. I personally handle a lot of this and can assure you that we detect and ban quite a few. Further, our speed team investigates botting every round. Every. Single. One. We have rounds 24/7 and a small team yet we still do it.

You think someone is botting? Report it. I assure you that we investigate reports. We may not come to the forums or send mails out bragging about taking out specific bot accounts (Rules... bleh..) but that doesn't mean we aren't doing anything.

We aren't perfect and we know that we can't catch them all (we try) but taking a couple of minutes to send in a ticket about someone you believe to be cheating helps to bridge those gaps.

Had to make a few adjustments to it, but I did slip it in to the 8 hour time slot next weekend. :)

This is my first time back to TW in YEARS (I remember the sad sad day when .net stopped doing speed after 2012). Glad to see speed is back!

I have 2 suggestions for rounds

1. Cluster Round (4-8 Hour) with PACKET Academy. It seems like 99% of things nowadays are Coins, but I think it would be very interesting to have an old school packet system in a round with clusters. Because it means your main villa wouldn't be able to make a full train on its own since only level 3 Academy, and you'd need to establish your cluster of a few villas & academy levels before effectively getting your noble trains going.

2. Classic (8-12 Hour) LIMITED HAUL. I'm not sure if this is possible from a technical standpoint, but I remember when limited hauls were introduced and they had daily limits that grew. It would be really interesting to see a speed round with *hourly* haul limits. Making farming (or clearing another player) still resource efficient as opposed to no-hauls, but would make things slower and more strategic than just 24/7 LC's farming every barb in the round.

Unfortunately, limited haul is daily only. As for the packet academy, I can mix a few back in to see if there is interest again but typically players in speed prefer coins.

Alright, thanks!

And yeah I didn't know if limited hauls time limits was adjustable with the world speed, in which case it could make for interesting rounds. But obviously not if its daily-only.

Hi I don't know if this still gets read but a few points of feedback:

1) What is the point in having cat rounds with raised start and no meaningful farm limit?
Everyone basically gets a village half built and then 4 hours to build it.... inevitablely ends up with situation like this with no clear winner:

1712133484389.png

Cat rounds should start low points and have a 150-300 farm limit, this is alot more interesting and competitive.

2) What's with all the 200% res boost? It's alright as a one off 'fun' setting but it seems its every other round atm. The vanilla production settings have always provided an excellent balance, see no reason to change this constantly.

3) I'd love to see more rounds with church activated, also cluster rounds are brilliant would love to see more of these, but with "Max. Noble Distance: 15 fields" should probably be reduced to 5-10 fields. Because the rounds are fairly small someone in the middle of the map can basically reach everyone with a 15 radius so its not exactly a cluster round :p

Anyway, I hope this doesn't fall on deaf ears - loving the regular speed rounds - thanks for keeping it going for us die-hard TW fans :D

Hi

Just wanted to say thank you for the making the changes.

The recent cat rounds from low point start have been a lot more interesting and fun for everyone with a closer finish and winner at the end.

The cluster round I played the other day with 5 fields actually felt like a cluster round! Nice one. Probably 10 fields would be the perfect sweet spot.

I am sorry not sure where to post this as I am confused with this forum. I am coming back and feel like I have no choice but to make an account on here and speak as I been waiting for these changes and surprised at the stand still. I mean no disrespect and I hope this helps whoever as I stand to make no gain from it other then possibly bettering the game I would love to play…

After not playing for a few years I am surprised you guys are still only releasing 1 server at a time. Rather then multiple servers multiple people can choose to play which will in turn have people buying more pp… every server you guys open up do you not gain?

Open multiple speed server. Let the player look in and choose which one he wants to play either 3 hour or 3 days or 5 days or domination speed rounds… to play x10 x50 whatever it’s been a while lol but I’m sure toy get the idea.

Same for regular servers. Open some servers slower some faster let players play multiple servers same time. Some with time limits 30 days x3, some with global domination like your doing now. Let people decide how many servers they can handle at a time. I think this will in return lead to lots of people buying pp in different worlds… this way if I’m in world 141 for example and my tribe gets taken out or I lose but guess what I know I am also in world 178.. and I’m also playing world 162 which is a 500 pp if you win first 300 pp if you come in second and 100 pp if you come in 3rd server. Let the people choose.

Also if I get on and I see world 100 for example is already with tribe leading xxx amount of point I’m not going to stick around while you decide when you are going to open the next server… just saying I’m going to keep forgetting about this game or look to spend my time and money on another game as I’m looking to play now & not when you guys decide… life gets overwhelming.

Also should introduce peaceful unless provoked AI bots into the game with troops to make server bigger with more grids. I fear… Has there been any updates since I left? It’s still Same graphics no movement on map or better troop for all troops placement… It’s sad such a good game going to waste and being put on the shelf.

“I wish I could play just logged on see speed server is almost beat as he is stretched across map and I spawned inside him twice.. not sure when you will decide to open the next server so I guess I will pop on and off with a few days in between and hopefully not forget again…”

Watching months go by while I Wait on Hp/speed/etc/regular server with decent speed to start or end because god forbid I miss one & hope you start one I like or I will have to sit that one out like church… which is cool if that’s your preference but not mine… Open some x2 some x3 some x4 some x6 some x1 for the real grinders some church some pally weapon with bonfire at same time let people peer in see specs and choose among themselves what they want to do…

Would be nice to also move stationed troops forwards else where’s this way we can advance on frontline… keep in mind frontline gets stacked that would be a great feature… like Viking days. Example I am 30 hours away from frontline for my tribe. It would be nice to be able to schedule something with my tribe and be able to move my offense to sit at my fellow tribemates front end to advance on their heavily stacked frontline… been waiting for that to happen forever.

Sorry for it being so long wanted to make sure I covered all bases of my ideas.
Sorry if I put it in the wrong place hopefully you are able to move it to the right place or at least it reaches the right people…
I come in peace ☮️
