I'm also waiting.

I remember once, there was a 550x or 600x speed. I think it had lag issues because of loot, so potentially a nohaul x550 speed 26pt start would be interesting.

  3. Premium is only credited to the winner once a world is archived to the Round Archive

Hey guys!

I'm looking for suggestions for a 5 day speedround between:
2019-10-26 14:00:00 -> 2019-10-31 14:00:00

Any suggestions?

Is it possible to increase the prizes on these rounds? I think 1000pp for winning a round would be better and more of an incentive to get more players in. Anyone can make 50pp by selling a few thousand resources quite easily in minutes so its a fairly pointless prize

I'm afraid that's not possible. :(

Another thing I used to really like when playing speed was seeing the achievements, in particular robber, plunderer etc... Can these be activated in future rounds?

Also, may I ask what barb to player ratio you are using for the rounds at the moment?

That sounds reasonable. I'll think about it :) I will also think about achievements. I think it should be OK to activate it on some of the longer rounds.

The barb ratio is always mentioned in the round announcement :)

Thanks mate, it's good to see .net speed back up and running. I remember once in .uk a few years ago they ran inter-server tournaments that lasted a few weeks but there was a page with live rankings which auto-updated after every round and then there were PP prizes at the end. If it possible to implement something like that, it means you don't have to rely on the 3rd party twspeeds website. Just another thought.

Suggestion for raised rounds:
When you make raised rounds for example 5k village start or higher, the barbarians need to be ALOT lower, otherwise everyone will just noble barbs.
8k village start is OK, but barbs should be 2k maximum. Otherwise, why will people noble players if the barbs are the same size?

I am afraid that's not possible :(
They use the same setup as regular player villages when spawning. Only thing we can do is have them shrink too, but that goes very slow.

Would lowering the barb count be a better solution? If so, what count per player do you suggest?

That's correct, I never really use that setting. I could do it every few rounds :)
I think disabling the barb nobling on the raised start rounds would be a good idea as well. It would lead to a lot more aggressive rounds and skill needed to win.
