St A is....awesome

So, here's the story, though it is a bit long, if you want some bad info on St A, read up.

~2 weeks ago I had pepperbro sit my account later it was passed on to big092701, I was under heavy attack from aten and was just beginning college, so I didn't have the time to coordinate defense.

Thinking I would log back in a while later, once I had school under control, knowing I'd probably be a few villages lighter I went away.

Today, I received an e-mail warning me of inactivity on my account. Thinking, hmm that's odd, I log in to check what's going on.

First thing I notice, is instead of 5 pages of villages, I have 2. Assuming that my sitter just did a poor defense I check my reports and notice that all the recent noblings where by my own tribe mates.....

I go on the forum and find that my account was put up for grabs, my sitter sent ALL my troops to one of my isolated villages far away and then ended the sitting and had people noble away.

So my troops have 100 hours left to a destination that they will just return from(the village was captured by aten), while in the meantime I have no troops or population left...

I know atleast 2 members have my MSN/email adress and I was still semi-active on world 9 since it required much less time. Contacting me would not have been at all difficult but not even an attempt was made.

So, Aten, my villages are empty!(what's left of them) have fun.

everybody else, I hope you enjoy seeing the true character of the saints.

Admins, I do believe the sending out of my troops in order to take them is a breach of the rules, a service thing was made, and big092701 was the one who did it...

I'm sorry for what happened to you. I sat your account for about a week, then the account was passed on over to someone with more time to defend.

Attempts were made to contact you, and I could be wrong but its been nearly a month itleast if not more?

Anyways, if you choose to continue playing I'll gladly help you with expansion. Otherwise, I hope you understand our point of view. There was absouloutly no ETA for you to return, you asked if I could sit you, and you never returned, or said how long you would be gone. it has been about a month if not more, people had thought you had quit.

Even when I am sat, I sometimes log on for 5 minutes just to check activity and my situation.You never logged on, appeared to be a perma sitting account something ST A doesn't really do.

Anyways sorry for your losses.

It may or may not speak badly on our part, Were not a tribe nor have we been were half the tribe is perma sat.
 
As far as the sending away troops /shrug no idea about that one way or another I never touched your villages or nobled you. If so, Mikeys may be right, Admins will have a field day.
 
well, whatever the case is, I was never contacted, leznato and I talk frequently out of game, there could have been a post 2 weeks in saying, if anyone can contact deacon, please do...I could have logged in once a day if I had thought it would make a difference...

ooh, and there goes another village!

Seriously though you left your account without checking it for 2 weeks and they rimmed your pathetic self. Go cry somewhere else. I think any decent tribe would have done it sooner.

2 weeks no communication = rimsville for you.

Even cpt jack would agree (no offense cpt :) )
 
what I'm saying is there could have been communication, I still talked out of game with in game players, I wasn't inactive, just figured it was easier to let them deal with the defense since I didn't have much time available.

Had I realized this was the other option, I would've made some time...

if i was in the position to make the decision over one's account i would assume there was something preventing him from reaching a connection:
- internet provider was struck by a meteor
- all his fingers were broken and couldnt log in
- he had to go off somewhere for work
- was having recurring sex for 2 straight weeks

anything could have happened to this deacon guy and they should have kept up the account sitting in the hope that he would return, only absorb someone if its getting ridiculous (2 months maybe?) or if they tell you to

my opinion anyway
 
haha, thanks walleye, but if it where option #4, I wouldn't be complaining right now :lol: :icon_wink: and yeah, I agree with the idea absorption is eventually necessary, I was a leader of a smaller tribe for a while and I had to make some similar decisions. However back then it was an account someone had spent at most a month or two on, not a year and a half...

meh go cry somewhere else. He abandoned his account and his sitters F'ed him Get over it, it's just a game. You can't deal with logging in once a day? Then don't complain about what happens to your account. You think what was done was against the rules? Then file a ticket and let's keep the forum whine free.

Well if someone could have got hold of you on msn then i would be angry and p*ssed off as well with my tribe,usually an aristo posts (can anyone get hold of the so called person)and then usually someone posts back saying yes or no.If it is no then eat the account if yes then they log in or as before they get eaten,at least the chance would have been given and the respect for your member.
 
Did it ever occur to you to check how your account were doing on TW+ once in a while? :)
 
my account was doing just fine, it wasn't till after he ditched it, that I started losing villages. Which was 3 days ago, since I just got that inactive mail.

And hashpuppy, I had 1mil for a while, but I let some villages go because not wanting to pay for premium I couldn't manage that many villages effectively anymore. I did alot of clearing villages and stuff for tribe mates and sent out lots of support to friends.
 
jeez if you didn't have premium at a mil points I can see why you didn't have time to play the game
 
yeah, I hate paying for things, so other then the free time I got, I never had premium, well a friend gave me a months worth once too.

Just looked, I never quite hit 1mil, I guess only 975k, but that's pretty close.

And yeah, when you empty all of someones villages, you kinda wanna take em over fast...

no, you aren't are you

excuse us all for having a life, life wins over this stupid game every day, perhaps you have a different set of priorities. all leaders of Tribal wars should adopt this mentality and know that there will be circumstances for all of us that prohibits us from getting to a computer to log into some stupid computer game

Life is this massive multiplayer thing alot of people have as a hobby, it's a good idea to not let it get in the way of tw.
