Hello all, first post on this world.
I'm not entirely noobly, but I've certainly never considered myself "elite" or "expert", I've just so happened to end up with lucky combinations of farmable villages, and proximity to "elite" players. Basically I'm adequate.
Anyway, haven't played with any regularity in some time, and saw the new world was starting while I had some time to devote, and thought I'd throw in. I'm just curious what people think are good general strategies with worlds of these settings?
My first thoughts are obvious, axes=love, as close proximity and light barbarians are going to make 9x9 infighting inevitable to many. Likewise people are building their mines up significantly higher earlier in than other worlds I've played on.
(I could be wrong of course! Like I said, I honestly don't know.) But I'm wondering past the early start up stuff.
Will we see more family style tribes as morale bashers will continue to be needed in the core for a significant length of time? Will we see tighter clusters for similar reasons? Etc?
