I'm not much with posting propaganda on these forums, but a lot of folks know that I do photos. I was wondering what people would think about a propaganda picture contest?

Would there be enough interest in this that other people would enter (so that Iceman wouldn't just run away with the prize?)

I would like to hear what people think. I bet we could scrounge up some premium points for the prize....

I'd give it an effort, but how about you and iceman are judges, and its more based on artistic ability than the point of the propaganda? Or maybe a 50/50 thing between these two?

I didn't mean to take this thread so far off topic, nor did I expect such a good discussion to evolve. Perhaps Lord-Haste could peel this page of posts off into its own thread so we could continue this on its own merits. :)

Try to get more LOL/Anti T:Vers on here and when they do come, stop them being auto branded a troll.

It's almost impractical. Hard to get someone actually from the lol unless they come along on their own accord. Buuut, I'm willing to put out some anti-T:V propaganda if that floats people's boats

You really sure about that? Just make it funny and not too offensive. T:V has taken potshots before...but the vast majority of propaganda pics (anti-T:V) have been mediocre at best.

I have talked to The_Iceman and we agree that its time to see propaganda pictures from others.

Ok, here is a proposal, I could send out a mail to the top 20 tribes (including tribes from T:V's enemy list) inviting their members to participate in this contest. We could start a thread for submissions, and lay down a few simple ground rules. Then Iceman and I (and a third judge from the LOL side) could go thru the entries and pick say, 6-8 finalists, and those photos could be put into a thread for the public to vote on (a poll) and let the world one people pick the winner.

What do you guys think about that? I'm sure I could come up with some premium points for the winner and first runner up.

Don't base it completely on its point though.

I'm making an outline now on what to base the judging on. Your suggestion is close to what I am thinking :)

In general things on this forum get shot down if tey are anti T:V, this isn't T:V and tends to be more the co (of T:V and co). I guess it could be trialled, mine would be more anti TCK for obvious reasons.

A propaganda competition would be fun, I always enjoy looking at some of the stuff you guys come up with :icon_smile:
