This is the generalized international version, and serves a whole host of countries, and as such, there is no way to create a fair night bonus system that does not disenfranchise a lot of players.
As for the German version having a night bonus, it isnt intended to stack it against North American players, it is intended to help German players, who are the target market for that server. It was never supposed to be played by international players.
But regardless, a night bonus would have made this game impossible, and I, too, am glad for its absence.
