The path to Final Showdown?

So how does the story of W42 ends?

Say for example this happens:

[spoil]
dosxpartition.jpg
[/spoil]

If DosX collapses and their territory is partitioned between NYUK and ModWar as per above map...

Then what? Are we heading straight to final showdown of W42 with ModWar and NYUK going head to head?

Can anyone give me an update please as to what's the story with these Yay guys? They look like they might eventually be playing a crucial role between shifting the balance of power if DosX is defeated to either:

a) ModWar - by creating a "forward operating base" in the middle of NYUK's territory, or
b) NYUK - by giving them a more solid territory and stable eventual frontline with ModWar.

Which way would they most likely swing? (If at all?)

What are the odds that DosX can eventually somehow bail themselves out of this by forming a third major tribe with Yay (again balance of power seems to be in their hands due to the strategic position they hold) and KTA? DosX is quite unique in that they are surrounded by everyone and that they have another tribe in the middle of them.

Haven't been here for 6 months, so would appreciate your input (info and opinions) with this. Since I've been away, 4 Worlds have closed after winning tribes have been declared and their members took away a cut of winnings, free premium points, with them. Didn't even know that can happen and that Innogames would start cutting off sources of revenue for them by closing the Worlds and declaring winners.

So who's gonna go head to head and how is it gonna play out before the winner is declared for W42?

I do believe a merge/"selective recruitment" beetween Dos X and KTA is inevitable, and could happen soon.

About the yay guys, i have no idea, if i have to guess i would say they dont share Dos X leadership ideals, recruitment policy, etc, please correct me if im wrong.

These would leave 3 "super powers" (Dos X; Nyuk & ModWar), with yay and lycans(or whatever is left from IDS) lurking around, if they dont get recruited from any of the 3 mentioned before.

Good post orion, i think you voiced the question on a lot of people's mind. I for one think it is still too soon to answer said questions. There are too many variables and too many tribes that could go either way. If/when dos merges with kta i think we will be a lot closer to being able to tell what direction this world is going to go, but until then, its all up in the air

It depends a lot of recruitment at this point and time. Assuming KTA doesn't go into Dos X, and assuming Dos X crumbles, I think that both Mod and Nyuk would look to see the removal of KTA, as they were an absolute annoyance in the past for my tribe.

As for YAY, I see them joining Mod if they ever get the chance. Brisr and Nyuk don't exactly see eye to eye.

Since few of my colleagues (and former various enemies) ended up in ModWar I admit I've got more affinity for them.

Yet, we can't forget that NYUK's war against (what use to be) OKBI is heroic and largely unsung and credit has to be given to them for it. Classic story of the underdog vs the favourite.

Even ModWar has the similar background of overcoming adversity when circumstances conspired against them:

[spoil] RIVET: "Ok everybody, I'm disbanding the tribe and were joining W.O.H!"
FACILITATOR: "Is this a joke?" [/spoil]
Yeap, I remembered now that Brisr wasn't exactly a friend of NYUK but people do change over time.

Still, for now my money for final two would be on NYUK vs ModWar in the "grand finale".

It will be interesting to see how DosX plays their cards...

Interesting analysis, intriguing that you give so much influence to YAY as opposed to KTA or LYCANS. I understand we're more central, still interesting though.

Unless things have changed, I think the distaste between Nyuk and Brisr has been related to Ads - will him temporarily away, I'm not sure what that could bring. I don't really forsee Nyuk changing their minds too much no matter who is on the account though.

As for your scenario there, it's exceptionally crafted. I don't think Dos X is just going to derp over like everyone is expecting, but I do think it will eventually get to something similar to what you illustrated on your map.

Just going to throw this out there.....my warped opinion why you should never post on not enough sleep but...

Nyuk will finally make peace with dos x despite the option to gangbang them they will drive south east into modwar throwing mod's plans out of wack and taking the pressure off of dos, kta is going to mass noble generate and launching noble trains over dos make a frontline in the south and reverse the fortunes of modwar....now this will totally throw the entire world off balance and yay will quadruple in size and open up on everyone

I don't really see Nyuk making peace with Dos, at this stage it wouldn't make any sense for them. Why make peace with them when they will have an easier time nobling them now.
What might happen would be Nyuk tring to recruit some Dos players. As for KTA trying to launch noble trains over Dos to make a frontline in the south. I'm not actually sure they can it could be to far for nobles to travel. KTA may try and jump over Dos in the east to set up a frontline there but seeing all KTA's best players seem to be on the on the old frontline with IDS I'm sure they'ill be content with picking off all the players left tribless from IDS's collapse for the time being and I'd say depending on how Dos does in its wars KTA and Dos will most lighty merge.

 Scuba....you need to find your sense of humour and give it a polish! I cant believe you gave this tongue-in-cheek speculation a serious answer!!

This is probably the one thing I repeatedly think of when I see this thread.

It wont make your computer blow up, I promise.. unless it's really old and can't handle a flash animation - then you have bigger problems.

I'm just hoping for a final showdown that is completely (or at least partially) unpredictable. Maybe we need a new video for people to play with. Out with the old, in the new. After all, spring is just around the corner.

Cronies, Slaves, Robots & Tarboy

Let's keep this world alive, kicking and interesting.

It will be interesting to see how DosX plays their cards...

i know what they'll do...

they'll hug... as always... lol

QA will prolly be recruited by modwar soon. why do i say that?

well, she has a nice backline with them and 4 days of war now... no ODD at all... (interesting fact)...
if i was in the position of modwar atm, i'd go straight to the leader... what a better way to increase morale other than taking the enemie leader down?

so i guess QA will be the first hug dosX will be making with ModWar...

i honestly thought Modwar would be much more agressive though... maybe too soon to tell..

So You think Modwar is not aggressive? Or perhaps they don't bow to your schedule.

i know what they'll do...

One statement isn't enough to decide someone is naive. Maybe you could come up with a reply related to the subject at hand, as opposed to a flaming, condescending personal insult.

You don't have to agree with the predictions and I don't think they're meant to be taken at face value. Stirring a little speculation might force people to be more thoughtful and do their own research rather than just posting basic stats and believing half of what they see on the externals and hear from their friends.

I'd like to see this world war it's way into the TW Hall of Fame, not Hall of Shame.
