The W96 Forums From Nemesis's Perspective

It seems that 95% of the people on here are commenting on the OBEY/VAPE vs Escape/WET war and the forums in general without knowing any of the facts. I feel it is my job, as resident historian, to briefly elucidate the public on all of the drama and why the world has shaped up how it has.

Let us start at the beginning. Obey was founded by Nest as a collection of top players from past worlds, led by a well respected leadership. Although I believe Obey was largely formed as a result of a bunch of players wishing to continue playing with each other after the end of past worlds, it was somewhat inevitable that a lineup of this calibre was destined to dominate. So Obey started the world and quickly doubled the rank two tribe, in large part through the pay to win mechanics and the preparation and PP farming that accounts had done in past worlds.

Hmmmm...thinking about it, this is not the beginning.

Let us start at the beginning. In W90, there were three major tribes, TEA, Infamy and BiP. A lot of the forum shenanigans that take place are a result of this war. TEA was essentially this big family tribe, led by TreX, Jake and Al who are a large voice on the Escape/Wet side of things. Then on the other end you have a lot of Infamy, especially, and BiP playersin Obey. The reason there is so much shitposting on the forums is actually nothing to do with Obey or Escape, but more to do with W90.

Wait...I'm not quite sure that's it.

Let us start at the beginning. In W83 there were these two sides, Golden/Any and NAM/Blue or whatever they were called, the latter of which largely formed TEA. Anyways on that world, Jake and TreX were on one side and a bunch of Obey members were in Golden. Wait, thinking about it, that was just revenge from W77? Wasn't the same sides essentially there in W73 too where you had Random vs. -ND-?

Then you have everyone else, who essentially just has to put up with these petty squabbles and you have Kirk who gets deep dunked every world the exact same way.

My point is, the timeline keeps repeating itself. It isn't about W96 at all.

We are stuck in a time loop where the same shit keeps happening over and over again.

Anyways, I was supposed to get onto something. Oh yea, everyone wants to know why Vape sided with Escape and stuff, why Darren is as salty as a piece of bacon I once got from poundland and why there are like 10 threads for what essentially is the same thing and arguments about nothing that nobody cares about.

Vape essentially had a choice, they could side with WET/Escape and probably lose the world, or they could side with Obey and perhaps get recruited later on in the game or do a 1v1 which they'd probably lose. There you go, I said what everyone else was thinking. Either ways, bad options. WET and Escape chose to be arseholes because they thought that they could get away with anything because not gangbanging Obey with everyone probably means Obey will win so Vape decided they'd do the latter option instead.

About who's gonna win. Well just look at the lineups, probably Obey gonna win. Yes I'm in Obey but I promise I'm not being too biased. I mean when nobling 4 barbs off Jasper is an achievement, you know your enemy isn't aiming too high. Yea Nest is gone, but there's like 15 world winning leaders in Obey. I'm sure between them they can make people work together and plan Ops. I know I'm exaggerating or something, but the point still stands.

About Darren, he basically supported a guy Kirk 2 continents away that was an enemy because he was his friend though he failing for pretty much the same reason he fails every world. I really needed support Darren, I begged you multiple times and had the highest ODD in Obey for most of the world, we are next door. Your coplayer Theo sent me the only support I got after the 1 village stage from you because we knew each other from W87. I thought we were friends. Obviously I don't show you my arsecrack like Kirk does though. Anyways, that combined with the fact he liked to brag about farming (tbh anyone who brags about farming is an arse so they better be doing it deliberately to be an arse) and caused arguments and stuff meant he had to go.

There's 8 paragraphs of utter rubbish to add to the dogshit that has been the entire forum for the last few days.
