I understand everything you have said, even slightly agree with the fact that adding some extra active players couldnt hurt your cause... However i dont understand the following:



Are you implying that because Fig, who is smaller than time, should picture the tribe -34- as a real threat to Fig?:lol:

The first thing you need to do is stop thinking of it as a way of pleading for help, and maybe open the idea of opening up the range to a local tribe. This benefits both tribes in the situation. I should not have used the word "win," it implies to much. Winning something and having won something are quite the different cup of tea.

If said 500k tribe has even only 5 decent players (experienced and growing) why in the world would it be ridicule worthy to ask a potential striking force to help with nobling for Time's and -34-'s benefit?

I agree, it's good diplomacy. In fact, I'd venture to say it's an OK idea to attempt to distract FiG and gain some support. But is it supposed to be necessary? Not at all.

A 4.7mil tribe requesting the help of a 500k tribe against a 1.7mil tribe should never have to happen. Put simply, Time has 668 villages as of the last Updating Map update. FiG has 257. That means that even if FiG had all of its villages as offensive, and Time had a 1:1 ratio of offensive to defensive villages, Time would still have more nukes that FiG. Adding a 500k tribe is laughable and should be unnecessary.

Yes, good diplomacy. No, not good material for a public arena.

It's akin to me having $100 dollars to spend on a brand new chair, and someone outbidding me with $30. Should I have to ask someone to add another $10 to my $100 just so I can buy the chair?

It's should not be that way, and while it is good to have more money, that doesn't necessarily mean I should be proud of needing it just to outbid someone who has less than half of what I do to spend.

Ps. FiG is beating Time, a tribe more than twice the size of FiG. -34- is 1/3 the size of FiG.

Sure, adding 5 active players could turn the tides. In fact, it may be needed in a logical sense for Time, who is falling behind. But does that make it any less laughable that they need more active players? Nope. It only proves that Time is getting slightly desperate, and is quickly becoming the laughingstock of the world, unable to take out a tribe like FiG without the help of even more active players.

Your logic is strictly discussing if it would be good for their war. While I acknowledge that it may help them, I'm also including within mine and Rukoh's logic that it is hilarious that they should need that to do well in the war. Therein lies what you aren't discussing. I'm agreeing that they could use all the help they can get, I'm just laughing that they should need that help.

u6s5l knows all. Personally, I think its interesting to see how this continues. Time will have to try harder at some point or risk having other tribes join in to take their easy villas.

A tribe that encompasses the wide spread of K's like Time, touching multiple front-runners, cannot use every village directly towards one front. Of course FiG will show early conquers in this situation because they have more villages on the front (presumably all focused towards their war because they ARE the front).

Did you ever think that Time just wants to speed this tango up for the next dancing partner to come along?

I suppose that because you are from an outside tribe, you are not aware of Time's diplomacy. To be frank, Time's diplomacy sets them up with little to fear from the other large tribes who are "front-runners", whereas our diplomacy does not. They are not focused on the front because they do not wish to be, and their players lack a strong leadership. Time's first major op was called off yesterday, and they have failed to perform a single unified tribe action thus far.

It's not that they want to speed this up, it's that they cannot seem to gain a footing at all. Due to their diplomacy, it's just us and them in this dance, and they're not able to keep up.

From reading your post u6s5l you should really not make it so clear that you know so very much about Time's inner workings on the public forums. Though nice to have access to all the extra information you know about your opponent, it is usually best to keep that knowledge to yourself rather than allow the world (and Time) to see.

I do disagree. While you may believe that it's not correct to say that I know so much, I would contest that. Simply put, I know that my multiple spies are not in jeopardy as a result of my making it clear that I do know so much about the inner workings of Time. I know that they are all perfectly capable of avoiding making mistakes, and will not do so. So, by sharing rather basic information (when they already suspect they have spies, which they did before I even had any), I'm not doing anything to change the dynamic.

They've believed they've had spies since before I even had any, is what I'm saying, so what's the difference if I just make my point that their fears are correct :icon_wink:.
