I honestly think you're making the situation worse by continually commenting on it, it really isn't necessary to constantly tell us how to behave, Big Daddy. If someone wants to rile up a moderator, let them, if someone wants to point out hypocrisy, let them, if someone wants to intentionally piss someone off, let them. And let them deal with whatever consequence there is, don't preach to us, it's patronizing and it only prompts us to want to do those things.

I say go ahead TW, do your thing, be a thorn in the side of authority. Unquestioned authority is a dangerous thing that leads to big egos and an air of self-righteousness. I find it funny that I have to be the one to say something like that considering how much respect I have for authority and rules.

Call this unfair if you like but I'm banning you now cause basically you're starting to annoy me.

Banning someone for basically annoying you? And you have to question whether or not that would be considered "unfair"? You're bringing this on yourself, as soon as you realize that maybe you won't be so "annoyed." Have you ever heard of the expression "use a light touch"? Often it's the moderator that takes the least action that gets the most accomplished.

I don't think he cares. That is why we were told to just stop trying. Unless the site owner is watching over BadMonkeyKK, he is essentially a god. Questioning a god that has nothing to fear will just incur their wraith. If you want to express your dissatisfaction for the manner in which the forum is moderated, put together a rational argument and take it up with BadMonkeyKK via PM as I have already done. People are less reactive to criticism if it's not done in public.

I will do so shortly but I think it's important for any figure of authority, from the President to a forum moderator to be held accountable, publically, as they are acting for the public over which they govern. A country is nothing without its people and a forum is nothing without its members.

He had already been warned about making complaints about the moderation of this forum on the forum and it didn't take long before he done the same thing yet again. He had a fair warning and he was complaining about things that had already been dealt with quite clearly on the forum if he had bothered to look properly.

Rob (a.k.a. Fool) is a good guy. He helped me carry my computer gear up to the conference room of the Marriott during our LAN last weekend, he moderates our Photoshop contests (a thankless job, much more so than any here, I daresay - count yourself lucky you don't have to deal with a bunch of graphic designing prima donnas like us on a (gasp!) uncensored forum), and he is loved by children and small animals.

That being said, in all fairness, his title on our forums IS "Whiny B****"
