I doubt anyone would have seen that in a negative way, since they actually would be gifted.

Gifting villages always skews with the game in a negative way, I don't think I'm the only one who would see it that way but of course most do not. In this case he's already competitively ranked so why would you want to throw the fun away by taking the gift of free villages? Absurd.

Personally I`m counting on Where? to get in peoples way long before they get to my little spot on this world, a war between Where? and New! in a few months will be intersting to watch ... from a far. Depending of course on which direction New! chooses to expand in. And if New! and Where? are still around in a couple months.

I did not insinuate that only tribes that lasted till end-game mattered.

My point was that they couldn't stall until end-game without making it that long.
