I was interested in how DA fails. Every time I read a post on the top 20 tribes forum, everyone says Oh they'll be gone in 2 weeks, and someone says it again every two weeks. We are one of the only tribes aside from 4ZL? that has lasted in the top 10 without doing a massive split/merger with another tribe. I think it's time a little respect is given to a tribe.
We may have a done a little mass-recruiting. Who says it's a bad thing if you pick up some good players? Bad ones are internally nobled.. We have a good OD, better than most tribes, and we have a solid holding on the core and soon much, much more. I think just a little respect is due to DA, already having lasted much longer than most have thought they would.

I pity anyone that underestimates DA and ends up in a tangle with them. They may have a lot of numbers but they have the best coordination I've seen out of a 'mass recruit' tribe in a very long time. They may have faults (every tribe does really), but they do have a number of admirable qualities as well.
That said jpesh, getting annoyed with people for their opinions doesn't tend to be very productive. :3 DA just needs to keep on fighting.

And PS it's not the amount of ODA that counts, its how you got the OD. A lot of ODA or ODD means nothing to me. In fact a lot of the high OD players don't exist anymore because they overextended their troops or got nobled out. Anyways I won't be talking to you anymore, or at least until DA moves up another ranking, since we haven't moved down yet.

Lets assume all the top players (not in points but in skill) were to form one tribe, say that tribe was filled the 75 member limit and was ranked 2nd in the world. Judging by your logic this tribe would FAIL simply because of their member count and not on the quality of those members. To me if a tribe can manage and work well with the amount of members than why not keep them. If you have dead weights or those who cannot keep up than reduce the numbers until you are at a level where things run smoothly and efficiently.

Mass-recruiting is never a good thing no matter how many good players you think you find. You have just killed all the good players you have chances on growing b/c you invited all their targets. Plus you have to earn respect and thats way your tribe is not getting it.
