Im in world 8 and i just noticed that when i scouted some one on a diagonal from me insted of being 9 min. it was 13mins to get there. so even tho are corners are touching it is 13 mins but shoudnt it be only 9? just wondering.
The time listed by the units is for traveling from side to side of the tiles. Traveling corner to corner is a further distance, so it takes more time. The Pythagorean Theorum is used to calculate the time it takes.
