It's entirely different, it is an alternative to the map you're used using in Tribal Wars itself. TW Stats is a tool to help you see the history of events and make comparisons between tribes and players. If you'd take a better look at it you'll see there are hardly any similarities.

Kinda cool.

Will have to look into this a bit more since there is some stuff to check out.

I like the growth timer though it may lead to some nasty comments from people who don't want others to know this.

How often is it updated?

A great adition would be a note pad section for each village. So you could copy and paste scout reports in etc.

I'm interested to know more about the growth monitor. Wouldn't a better indicator of 'growth' be how many points the village has gained in a period of time, and therefore the rate of growth, rather than how long since it last increased in points like you have now?

A few things I noticed that would help a bit I think.

The biggest is a way to slide the map like we have in the game.

All I saw was you had to double click the area on the mini map if you didn't want to enter the cords.

Also for the growth meter I have the colors figured out for the most part but you might want to make up a small color guide that can be turned on when you click the growth button.

Still looking at stuff so will see what else I notice.

A great idea, will be the first thing on my list to add. Doesn't seem to complicated, although I can't rely on browsers for storing it (it'll quickly exceed the cookie limit) so I'll have to make an auto user creation system (not too hard) and an AJAX safe script so it might take a while. 1 week - 1 month depending on how many difficulties I'll encounter.

Sounds great. Will it cope with new worlds as they come aswell?

1: The biggest is a way to slide the map like we have in the game.

2: Also for the growth meter I have the colors figured out for the most part but you might want to make up a small color guide that can be turned on when you click the growth button.
1: Alternatively, you can click one of the top-left arrows to move the map in that direction. I know it's a big inconvenience not being able to pan the map like in Tribal Wars that's why the minimap should help ease the problem, but I must give it to them, that's a very nifty feature they made there. You can also just resize the map to be 80x60 villages big so you don't have to pan at all ^^.
2: Click the question mark behind "Growth monitor", it shows the description and an image legend.

I didn't notice those arrow on the top left and that works and I see the part under the question mark.

Some nice stuff.
