they already stated its to make it similar to other games. all in the pursuit of trying to get new players. youve seen the decline rates right? people are leaving, they need to bring in more people otherwise they will be in some pretty serious trouble. you may think "oh changing a few buttons isnt going to do that" and your right. but its a start. and it hardly changes anything for those already playing, so why complain about it?

Because it's not attractive to new players either. I'm complaining because there is absolutely no purpose of moving the "Forum" and "Friends" to the bottom of the screen, how does that make it any more appealing to new players? It's utterly pointless. The same with moving around mail/reports etc.

Also, in the mail option, it has "replies" instead of "reply". Minor detail that needs looking into.

My red bar follows me down the page and ends up in the center of the screen right on top of things if that's what you mean.

Not sure but I think this is a bug and is only supposed to be on packet worlds.

Honestly, Raven is right in ranting. I agree with her wholeheartedly. When I was trying to build troops last night, I had to scroll down the page to add my troops in (I don't mass recurit yet) as the new pics for each troop type has lengthened the page so it runs off my screen now.

Seriously, if you are going to add these new features, just give us a button to be able to disable things if WE want to disable them. We play this game as it's simple yet effective, this is now complicated and annoying.

I've never complained about other upgrades but this one is simply too much. If you want to revamp the look and feel of the main pages, then give us the option to switch things off. I could not give a flying forg's fat ass about cool pics in my reports or on my recruitment page. I know what a scout does, I don't need a sexy big ass pic of a scout, swordman or spearman that makes my page extend off the screen.

Give us options to switch these things off and a lot of people will be happy.

Well some people have issues, they are not comparing there computer's to yours, they are ranting.

there is absolutely no purpose of moving the "Forum" and "Friends" to the bottom of the screen.

Toolbar is at the bottom for a chat system. Think facebook chat? It's not out with V7.0 but likely to happen with future updates, just getting ready for it!

New graphics take up more space. If you don't like it, Settings--> Settings-->Classic

Also it doesn't revert things to their old places but it does get rid of the bar at the top. Under CSS package, use "/oldstyle.css".

Ive got a suggestion....How about you leave the game alone and work on fixing the crappy server problems we are constantly plagued with? You wont give us what we want or need...you give us crap we dont want.

Get rid of this mess you forced on us and fix the servers.

We are the community, we are the players, and we are the voice. Could there not be a project to look into having the old version for those players whom want it.

I mean the old version, including the map etc. Surely if there has been that many challanges and this much conflict it would be an idea to bring to the table to get this kind of add on as part of the graphics pack?

I will accept the changes, but cant you atleast try. Is there any possibility this can be escalated further, is there a complaints procedure where this can be handled, and NO, not a support ticket. I mean this kind of dissatisfaction has to be measured and monitored surely?

I couldn’t agree more.
The button layout has become so familiar; by suddenly changing it I'm having a hard time navigating. It's just useless.

Granted the friends one, then move it there when you introduce the chat, or at least keep a Friends link at the top. Forum one isn't for the tribe forum, it's for the public forum.

Guys at the end of the day they have done it !! Get over your self and just play the game , all games get updated and changed.

Give it a few days and you will forget all about the old version.

morthy can you confirm that some of the details in 7.0 were tested and a survey was conducted to show that a majority of players liked the "upgrade". Currently it appears that performance has been compromised. I can see that the idea of some of the upgrades is great but prehaps the cost is too great
