can anybody shed some light on text? this is the one thing i am getting frustrated with. i use gimp and have downloaded special txt but they dont work (may have done it wrong) i know there are help tools out there and i have read them. but i just want some basic tips on text, how do i make it look more natural and stand out, but not be the centre point?

I did this for the Slovak edition about 6 months ago for a competition there,

While I havn't got the .psd anymore, perhaps someone can use it as inspiration. The font used is Dampfplatz.
