W28 forum activity

Anyway, it seems like W28 Forum Activity have now gone worst.

It was bad before, now it is just worst!

Any1 has ideas to make this forum a market agn??it been a long time since i visted this forums and it hasn't change much at all:icon_eek:

First off gamerxx I miss you playing we haven't talked in ages. :) Secondly, to address your question above, I don't believe there is any way to revive this forum beyond the activity level it is at besides restarting the whole world or deleting it. If it were to restart players would come on here and b*tch about it restarting; and, if it were to be deleted they would do the same.:icon_razz:

These forums are dead for a reason. It is not due to the fact we have few active and great players (not saying we do) because honestly we do. I feel it is due to the fact that it is a constant bashing and competition as to who is better. And for that reason I would guess many of us have gotten bored with reading these forums. At one point I used to love checking the forums and reading peoples reviews of the top20 tribes. These reviews were like always mostly biased but for the most part had some interesting reading to them. Now the top 20 topic has been turned into a top 8 tribe forum (4DRINK.f 3MTS.f and 1PanDa?) and for the most part all it is is flaming as to how tribes got there.

Here is an example of the type of reading available reading in other topics:
Unnamed: "BLAH, BLAH, BLAH"
Unnamed2: "BLAH, BLAH, BLAH"
Unnamed: "OH YEAH!?!?! BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, we are better, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH"
...etc...etc...etc...

I for one am tired and bored of it. All other topics that could have survived or revived World 28's forums have been exhausted. All the games we have done. We will never see another war declaration. PnP threads are repetitive. And the latest new thread to get any response was that the old mod got bored with us and so we got a new one.

I often wish I could just delete these forums due to the childish behavior and constant bickering and flaming. I feel this world would be more exciting due to the fact that people would spend less time thinking about how to make others look stupid and more time on planning ops, tactics, and times.

I also miss the good ol' days.

I still check in from time to time. These forums are as bad as W43 and W5...so slow...

back to see how things are going on... one more vote for good old days. Glad to see my DRINK! is still on the top... I miss this world and i hope there will be one place for coming back. not yet but... some day... :)

I think its time for Sima to come back and show how much of a beast he use to be. Anybody in MTS want to challenge him to come back (please say yes, please say yes!!!)

Wow its been forever just poppin back in to see how things are going :icon_biggrin: hows every1 doing? w28 was the best world ever! im sad to see the forum presence is dying down from most people, but the world is still goin strong i think. Good to see good ol DRINK! is still leading the way :lol:

well technically the only thing that will take down either DRINK.f or MTS.f is inactivity. Now whomever else is left at the end to pick at the pieces will really be the winner.

But if my prediction above is wrong then I see the downfall of one or the other tribe being a internal spy(or two) giving up their account to the other in the middle of the other(I don't approve of this tactic...)

As for any other options not many i can see without a merge of the two tribes or certain players that dominate...

yes i would accept Brown31 as being apart of that group but as we both know and has been argued many times in other topics that DRINK has taken advantage of this tactic also.

But as for the reasoning for you comment ricevase please dont turn this tread into another pissing contest like all the others have become. It's hypocritical to take jabs at others when you or your tribe have done the same thing.

I posted above to take part in a discussion not to argue.

Well my old method of throwing flames and insults left and right used to get a quite few bites... but seems my targets all got wise, got tired or quit :icon_sad: But sure that gets activity up, but lowers the standards. My idea can bring you your cake, but you can't eat it...

I do not think that this world has lost its conservationists... I speak daily to members from MTS, Panda and Drink and all of those I speak to I enjoy the discussion, whether it is trivial banter or debating TW/RL issues. Its a case of getting these people onto the forums with debate I think, whilest at the same time keeping that debate clean of those who will dirty it.
