Erm, well I understand you like to drink a lot too...i wouldn't call that a tactic, so much as a lifestyle :icon_cool:

Then we can see a true war of active players - in fact we should get TW to delete all Barbs from W15

I strongly agree with that. The huge number of barbs in this world has a negative impact on the game. Players can clean up barbs in their K without having to interact with other players.

It would also be nice if TW halved the cost of nobles again so active players can hit harder. Players with 3000+ village can only mint 8 nobles a day - so in principle takes like a year to noble out an inactive player of similar size. When we only had 50 villages and could mint 4 nobles per day a neighbour could be taken out in a couple of weeks.

I've been saying this for a long time. If someone deletes their account, their villages should cease to exist. Yes, this means if somebody (DAD) goes on a pure cat nuke war to try and make somebody quit so they can be nobled, it won't give them any villages to noble...you'll have to noble them before they delete. The only way there should be barbs is if they are those stupid automatic ones that pop up at the beginnings of worlds, or if players lose vils because of a punishment (so they can try and get them back). Barbs are such a chore.

Who knows what seth would do if he didn't have any barbs. He might multi and report himself just to have some barbs to noble :lol:

Another idea, that probably people will totally ignore or flame me about.....take away the catapults, or make it only possible to build enough to hit the rallypoint. This game is to good to give the easy way to get rid of people. We are playing to have fun, but those cat operations are made to make people quit and nothing else. If we play to have fun, why we try making people quit?

I can see your point about cats.

The use of cats should be one tactic and not the sole strategy in a war, they have a valid role to play in this game.

I like to mix my attacks up a bit (as I know other players do) - just to make the defender think twice!
Too many players just dodge everything but nobles - again this is just one strategy for defending but a very common one (which works very well).

But with the size of the tribes and the players left in this world, most attacks will be semi-long range and there is nothing worse than sending attacks only to see the defender dodge and you have to wait for days for the troops to return home.....at least if you knock some buildings down it will make the defender think twice next time you send them.

Maybe the quality of players left in this world is that which they dont know how to/cant be bothered to time nukes and nobles to land at virtually the same time - I remember spending hours in front of the attack planners preparing for ops when I first joined Exile!

I return to my original point - the use of cats should be one tactic and not a sole strategy in a war.

Nor do I understand why tribes make such a big deal out of holding onto their inactives and then eating them at this stage of the game. Its just a never ending battle :icon_neutral:

the reason on why the Exile tribe is still keeping their inactives in there tribe is because of STRATEGY! :icon_surprised:
here's the idea...by keeping the players in K4 in their tribe, the !WAR! tribe will purposely noble their inactives in K4 since it is an enemy villages...hence...it will keep the !WAR! members occupied in K4 instead in K12...
by doing this...they'll be able to buy time to establish a strong base in K12 & push the !WAR! members out of it...
Just imagine if they'd kick all members in K4...what will !WAR! do??? of course they'll switch there eye in K12 and focus pushing back the Exiles...
Everything is just tactics my friend...who cares if they're losing vills in K4...as long as the enemy is occupied while they're preparing something then it will be no problem to them...
Remember...everything has a purpose...Our enemy Exile knows how to think also...:icon_wink:

I just hope that they'll be able to have a good comeback in their strategy...:lol:

maybe you should read my post again, i simply said you should sort your inactive list before you look and talk about other tribes :icon_cool:

maybe you should read his post and try to pick up on the meaning of it. He wasnt exactly criticising Exile for having inactives, more so just pointing out a strategy they appear to be using in K04.

And besides, do you expect a tribe not to have any inactives for a member to be able to comment on another tribes?:icon_rolleyes:

Just a side note related to august stats, a mere curiosity,

39,28% of the ennoblements made by war were exile villas;

19,69% of the ennoblements made by exile were war villas;

Seems there are other targets that are more important to both sides!
