Whatever happened to Mohua here?
When I left the world (was the duke of TRAP, way back when) it was he that was Duke, and later(forget the name). A few solid strong players that knew how to play.
Congrats to Axes for beign a powerhouse all the way through the world.
Don't know Chad, never played with or against him, but props to you for declaring and voicing your opinion. Many quiet themselves for fear of the consequences. Instead you had your say, played the game in a way that made it fun for you ( the whole point to any game) and kept some players active and for all I know the Forum active. Brave and bold you did what few would do. All those who talked you down, well no doubt not one of them would ever do the same. They would stick with a tribe regardless of their beliefs, which to me shows a true example of a coward, and a traitor to themselves.

you obviously don't get the point of the game, neither did chad. Its about the tribe, the team....not the individual. At one point Ashley understood this, Chad in his selfish narcissism lost this concept long ago.

Tribalwars does give that bit away
I am just saying that I don't see anything wrong with what he did. He saw something in the tribe that he did not like. Why stay in a tribe you are having problems with even if they are clearly going to win World 41. He made the decision to leave, war you lot and bring fun back into the game. I don't see how anyone can say anything bad about him for trying to make the game enjoyable.

my point is simply don't play a team oriented game if you refuse to be a part of a team. Chad was not team oriented, and in the last months he was in Axes did everything he could to bring disunion to the tribe. I'm glad he left, it made it more enjoyable for me. But his moves were neither commendable, laudable, heroic or brave. He faced personality conflicts in the tribe, most of his own creation. Instead of encountering and solving those issues, or as I might say "man up", he ran, threw insults and in general threw a giant public temper tantrum since he couldn't get his way. I don't congratulate my two year old when she flops on the floor after not getting her way, you shouldn't congratulate Chad either.

As I have said (Or meant to say) earlier, I have been away from World 41 for a while now. (Last I was around Mohua was in charge and Danjer and Prof.X and Arthas still played, maybe Purple Rhino, or is that another world?)
So when it comes down to internal matters than I am in the dark. I based my opinion on what I saw on here. And that was a lone player standing up for his beliefs. Now as you say, some/most was caused by his own doing, than perhaps a little less credit be given. Still I give him a clap or two for fighting Axes. No doubt gave a few of your members some last laughs before the world ended. And by fighting (as I saw just 4 recaps) I mean actuall at least throwing some attacks where others would delete or go inactive right away.

That was indeed another world - Purple Rhino's pseudo in this world was The cracker and tbolling (double account).
Tbolling was top 10 in his prime in this world if I remember correctly. All others were in the original Axes, back when we were but 10-15 players.

Ah, well one wrong isn't bad. I'm surprised I can still remember the ones I do. Been 1 if not 2 years now since leading Trap in (at that time) the North. I think that was back when the tribe Hug (or similar) was around and only 5 members but Top 20. The Axes I remember then were brutal to any who stood in their way.

This: "threw insults" is funny. Lol. Seems like you and sich not only started that, but were the only ones doing that. Name calling and calling me coward and traitor and whatnot. I don't recall throwing any insults myself. Perhaps you'd like to quote examples? So we can see your "proof"? I remember telling one person (forg was it? forget the name) in one instance, to get stuffed. One insult i threw. To weigh against how many were thrown at me?
And as for the "tribal" aspect of "Tribal Wars", weren't you the one so gleefully cheering me on when i went solo way back when against smerge/smexy/whatever? Sounds an awful lot to me like hypocrisy. You applaud it when i'm playing the account solo against your enemies (or at least not against you). Then criticize essentially the exact same actions when they are against you. Hypocrite.
And don't 2 year olds like to say things like "winner winner chicken dinner"? Again, i have to chuckle.
Oh the rose coloured glasses. On both sides, perhaps. But of course, perhaps this old saying ultimately sums it all up: "history is written by the victors". You won. You've been character assassinating me for a long time, many of you. Even though some in your own tribe saw me in quite another light entirely, and said as much. Do i have my flaws? Certainly. I tend to be the first to admit it. Am i "as much of" or "the right type of" team/tribal player that you insist is the only way to play this game? Well, i walked a different path. A path that time after time it seems, people who knew me and strangers both, are admiring.
At any rate... thought i would chip in with that.
