Little over three days, bit more for me since I tend to keep workshop at level 2, but considering:

index.php

GxdxBqY.png

already costs 270,555 wood 169,540 clay and 309,830 iron on the troops shown in that report it's a no brainer that spending another 33,600 wood, 22,400 clay, and 22,400 iron to protect the investment is a really good idea.

Lets put it this way, you spend 749,925 resources to make something. You're then offered to spend a further 78,400 to make your initial investment 32% stronger and you say no.

Spending 10% more res for a 32% return is a no brainer.

There is not a subtle difference between the two images below.

For what it's worth seboist, I'm not targeting you with this specifically, it's just a major pet peeve of mine, because it's something people do way, way, way too often. People need to stop neglecting rams. 10% extra investment for a 32% return is amazing.

EDIT: If anyone asks why my numbers for costs of troops doesn't match the sims, I included the cost of the scouts.

Speaking of, does anyone still have Cheese's ram/cat tables saved? I was looking around for them for my tribe's forums but they've long since gone offline

213 rams for maximum bonus is all you really need to know.

Not at all, there's far more useful information about rams. Most of it's stored in my head, but I want an effective visual representation for the newer players in my tribe.

The last one is a bit confusing, but the formula for how many rams you are "attacking" the wall with in case of a lost battle is:
= (Defender losses/Defender units pre-battle) x Rams in the attack

Going with bare minimum number of rams is pretty foolish

They dont take into account 3 tech, i know. But these are the only ones i had available :D

Nah, they both assume barely that you either won with no losses or lost the battle exactly troop for troop, so they are a bit misleading.

This work?

So, what is a "Catapult Wave?"

A large number of Catapults, sent in clusters of small attack forces, do far more damage then sending all the catapults together at once. Why? Because, as each volley of catapults scores damage to its target, the overall level of that target is reduced, making it even more susceptible to Catapult attack with the next successive hit. This strategy of multiple catapult attacks is called a "Cat Wave."

Any structure that can be built can also be destroyed in one of 2 ways:
Demolition - this can only be done with a HQ level 15 or higher, and it takes just as long to demolish as it did to build in the first place.
Catapult attack - very fast, and muchmore satisfying than demolition!

Any building can be reduced down to level 0, with the exception of Warehouse and HQ which cannot be reduced below level 1. ((Note: On church worlds, the church is very strongly defended against catapults - use your simulator!))
* When the HQ or the Smithy is below level 20, no new Nobles can be produced. This is a more effective way to stop education of new Nobles than catting the Academy, which is cheap and fast to rebuild compared to the Smithy, which takes days!
* When the Smithy drops below level 15, no new Heavy Cavalry can be recruited.
* Once the Barracks is gone, irregardless of Farm capacity, the village can NOT build or queue new Walls until after restoring the Barracks to at least Level 1.
* When the total *current* Population of a village (buildings and troopscombined) drops below the population that can be sustained by its current Farm level, then that village cannot make ANY new troops OR buildings (except warehouse) until the Farm has been replenished.

Now... suppose you want to send enough Tech1 Catapults to drop a player's farm from 30 down to 1 in a single trip? (Assuming no defending walls or troops.) You would have to send a force of 1,135Catapults! You can do the whole job with just 234 Catapults (or 174 Tech3 Cats), however, if you send them in smaller attack packs, called "Cat Waves."

The chart below is broken into 3 components:
1) The proper number of Tech1 or Tech 0 Cats to send to drop a building by ONE level
2) The proper number of Tech3 Cats to send to drop a building by ONE level
3) The proper number of Tech3 Cats to send to completely drop a building in a single hit.
Reminder ~ just like Nobles, Catapults are sometimes more effective with a small escort. Although they work fine when sent alone against a target with zero defense, even low walls give a village some defensive value, which may block (kill) some of your unescorted Catapults.

Tech 1 (or 0) Catapults ~ Number required to drop a building by ONE level
Building 30 = send 20 Cats
Building 29 = send 19 Cats
Building 28 = send 17 Cats
Building 27 = send 16 Cats
Building 26 = send 15 Cats
Building 25 = send 13 Cats
Building 24 = send 12 Cats
Building 23 = send 11 Cats
Building 22 = send 10 Cats
Building 21 = send 10 Cats
Building 20 = send 9 Cats
Building 19 = send 8 Cats
Building 18 = send 8 Cats
Building 17 = send 7 Cats
Building 16 = send 6 Cats
Building 15 = send 6 Cats
Building 14 = send 6 Cats

Building 6 = send 3 Cats
Building 5 = send 3 Cats
Building 4 = send 3 Cats
Building 3 = send 2 Cats
Building 2 = send 2 Cats
Building 1 = send 2 Cats

Tech 3 Catapults ~ Number required to drop a building by ONE level
Building 30 = send 15 Cats
Building 29 = send 14 Cats
Building 28 = send 12 Cats
Building 27 = send 11 Cats
Building 26 = send 11 Cats
Building 25 = send 10 Cats
Building 24 = send 9 Cats
Building 23 = send 8 Cats
Building 22 = send 8 Cats
Building 21 = send 7 Cats
Building 20 = send 7 Cats
Building 19 = send 6 Cats
Building 18 = send 6 Cats

Building 6 = send 2 Cats
Building 5 = send 2 Cats
Building 4 = send 2 Cats
Building 3 = send 2 Cats
Building 2 = send 2 Cats
Building 1 = send 2 Cats

Tech 3 Catapults ~ Number required to drop a building to ZERO on a single trip
(Above level 20? Dude... send waves! You don't need more than 235 cats in a village.)
Building 20 = send 235 Cats
Building 19 = send 204 Cats
Building 18 = send 177 Cats
Building 17 = send 154 Cats
Building 16 = send 132 Cats
Building 15 = send 114 Cats
Building 14 = send 97 Cats
Building 13 = send 83 Cats
Building 12 = send 70 Cats
Building 11 = send 59 Cats
Building 10 = send 49 Cats
Building 9 = send 40 Cats
Building 8 = send 30 Cats
Building 7 = send 26 Cats
Building 6 = send 20 Cats
Building 5 = send 15 Cats
Building 4 = send 11 Cats
Building 3 = send 7 Cats
Building 2 = send 4 Cats
Building 1 = send 2 Cats

I included the Tech3 "single-trip" chart only because, sometimes I am just too lazy to send a bunch of cat-waves against a gray farm. :icon_wink: Also, sometimes I am targetting a player who will get suspiscious if they see 20 consecutive incoming attacks, but they might ignore just a few attacks (say, a clearing nuke and 2 cat attacks against Farm and Smithy) as if they were ordinary fakes.

Nah, there's other useful information, nothing is more useful than knowing wall bonus mitigation.

The top table is the one most people don't seem to understand. Rams knocking wall levels down is basically just an added bonus usually. Which is why level 3 rams are mediocre, leveling rams doesn't affect wall mitigation.

I can include the formulas like i did for the last one. Which i did btw, so that one lets you calculate the ammount no matter what(please read properly(!) <3)

Otto you seem to be a very bad player with a terrible attitude. And your mail to HUN family looks more like desperation to separate the tribe than to actually help any player in it.

I never said I will help anyone in HUN. Perhaps you should re-read. And desperation , more like propaganda. It's a war game. Get used to it.

Edit. I'm bad player? Have you looked at yourself? You had no clue how to play a limited hauls world... And sure you havnt accumulated 5k in troops.

You are talking on behalf of a massive family tribe, surrounded by allies.
Under the circumstances I'd refer to someone who's map is almost completely blue, h\aving to hide behind 100+ members tribe(s) the crap player.
