Christ that is insular. That viewpoint offends me even more than that guy who thinks 'my chemical romance' is anything more than a bunch of angry, semi-talented middle class kids making bland, derivative music that seems to stem mostly from the angst that has been festering in their timid, unimaginative souls since that traumatic time when they ran out of hair gel.
I have been really getting into the old motown stuff, when you look at the socialogical history of these artists and the real reasons that their music became what it did, wow, it's powerful stuff. Also Syd Barrett-era Pink Floyd and old african chior music.
I don't listen music.
I listen The Holy Qur'an.
