Where are all the ascii swords?

I have not found a single tribe with a nice ascii sword in their tribe blurb. Seriously disappointing. How am I to know which tribe is the best?

But, seriously...are there any tribes that are doing __anything__?? Haven't played in a few years, and this is a shockingly dead world. Is this what they're all like now?
