Which player is the biggest barb nobler/internaller

I will expand the great tribe statistics by laterus for the top 10 players.
Please bear in mind this is only for fun, nobody has to take offense.

1. Rompak 90 internals + 80 barbs / 365 villages = 46.6% ODA Rank 2

2. Whowantstobemyfarm 202+10/367 = 57.8% 46

3. a1bonner1 165+9278 = 62.5% 52

4. rugsbunny 59+31/308 = 29.2% 6

5. we3noobs 31+30/295 = 20.7% 19

6. *-Artemis-* 125+9/275 = 48.4% 31

7. Davy Crockett 134+15/274 = 54.2% 120

8. NiZell 46+12/256 = 22.7% 13

9. marian74 0+61/249 = 24.5% 1

10. Macbeth- 9+20/256 = 11.3% 4

...53 Panamax. 7+97/159 = 65%

It seems there are two groups: those above 40% and those in the 20er range. The only exception of a rate with only about 10% is found at Macbeth-, the "smallest" player. I didnt have time to look whether there is indeed a trend towards lower internals/barb nobling among smaller players (edit: perhaps not as my random sample of a smaller player shows)

The only player that shouldn't belong on the top 10 players is Davy Crockett. Look at his ODA and you'll know why. Barb/Internal nobling is fine as long as you put those villages to good use by participating in wars or sending loads of support to the frontlines, which, unfortunately, Davy is/was completely incapable of.

Sending support doesn't get you any OD. Thought everyone knew that. Also, he doesn't need to have ODA 10x more than his points. ODA doesn't mean a player is good, it just means he's aggressive. I don't know the guy anyway so i can't say anything but just giving my opinion.

the only people who care about the top 20 players are the top 20 players.

Every post you make further gives me the impression that you're just bitter that you suck. Can't you post anything other than emo rage?

You are right, especially as internalling and barb nobling costs usually less troops and resources. However, if one compares the internalling/barbnobling rate with the ODA rank one can see a significant inverse association i.e. more internalling, less ODA, the only exception being Rompak with a high internalling rate but very high ODA. DC, of course is another extreme.

This list just shows that there are at least two successful strategies in this game.

I was only giving my opinion about ODA whores where they think they're too awesome, not the guy. Everyone can make tons of nukes and throw them left and right, but not everyone can defend correctly.

I Post it how I see it. I was not having a go at your thread. I don't care what you think.

Shame Tampara had to go barb..

Totally agree with you.
I've read this post and also Laterus' post. People all assume that nobling barbs just proves that you are a noob.
However, in the brief period I have played in W55 I've seen 3 players delete their account during wars resulting in a high barb count for the opposite tribe.

Just discovered this is my first post in W55 external forums.

Yeah, this is true. It sucks when your targets go barb, just cause it makes you look bad lol. Too bad there isn't an easy way to see which barbs were less than 2.1k and which weren't.

I figured out an easy way to import the conquer data in to excel, so I redid it cause the top 10 has changed a little bit, and to show barbs greater than 2.1k points. Some of the data I was getting from TW Stats appears to be in conflict with what the OP posted as well. First % is barbs + internals, second is internals + barbs under 2.1k.

I was gonna do top 20, but then got bored of it and stopped at 12. :p

1. Rompak [Temp] 93 internals + 44 barbs (0 under 2.1k) / 404 conquers = 33.9% (23.0%) ODA Rank 1

2. Whowantstobemyfarm [4ZL?] 202 + 13 (0) / 401 = 53.6% (50.4%) 36

3. a1bonner1 [4ZL?]168 + 12 (2) / 303 = 59.4% (56.1%) 39

4. rugsbunny [Temp]70 + 35 (13) / 334 = 34.6% (24.9%) 6

5. we3noobs [4ZL?]31 + 34 (8) / 295 = 22.0% (13.2%) 20

6. Davy Crockett 96 + 42 (36) / 284 = 48.6% (46.5%) 104

7. NiZell [-Nyx-] 46 + 12 (6) / 269 = 21.6% (19.3%) 10

8. Macbeth- [4ZL?] 10 + 20 (7) / 289 = 10.4% (05.9%) 5

9. OLD-GOND [-Nyx-] 100 + 7 (3) / 278 = 38.5% (37.1%) 48

10. Disarm Yourself [4ZL?] 86 + 17 (0) / 281 = 36.7% (30.6%) 26

11. Incomings [-Nyx-] 75 + 11 (7) / 272 = 31.6% (30.1%) 17

12. *-Artemis-* [Temp] 138 + 10 (7) / 302 = 49.0% (48.0%) 28

One thing I thought about while I was doing this, was that many of the top 20 players have co-players. Their high internal rate might be explained by them merging with their co-players. Or it could just be that they're all farming whores (they pretty much all have multiple looter/plunderer of the day awards) so they just always have the nobbies to take internals.

Bah! Could've done the top 13 at least! :icon_biggrin:

Interesting viewing nevertheless.

You just have to noble barbs sometimes. As mentioned above, either a player turns barb (who can just sit there and there's 9k barbs around him!), if you want to get on the front of a war so you get involved or move into a new area where there's some nobling targets that helps you expand in.

I have nobled my fair share of barbs on this world if it makes me a nub then I guess I am. Wont change the way I fight though. More points typically means more troops, thus has more of a chance in a war. Although it depends on how you use it I guess. A Guy I was attacking went barb. Should I just leave him alone then?
