When I use image tags on this forum, the image turns out super-LQ and ugly. Why is this?

Make sure that you use the img tag button mate, as far as I am aware there should be no lowering of quality, as they have disabled the other options on .net to upload from computer to the img tag, and the collect data and reference files locally option. Double check it on your host, as the issue could be there. If not, clear cache, restart browser, and go from there.

Don't think it does, you're hallucinating. I noticed no difference from when you posted something directly and gave a link to a "high quality" version.
