I'm just wondering why a tribe as large as ME1-5, would refuse to engage in diplomacy, and instead decide to attack a tribe much smaller than them...

As to diplomacy, you must have something to offer or get attacked. That's the nature of the game.

Usually, don't most tribes engage in diplomacy though?
Eg: a member of ME4 stated "stop attacking me or my tribe will attack you", so we stopped attacking. Before that, the dude was pretty much stagnant. No growth, no reaction to farming. nada. What do you do with players who drop? Farm'em. Either way, as soon as we found out that he wasn't a drop, we stopped.
Now they want war without talks. Whatev, let's see how it goes down.

My My My amazing how he says when we said Stop he stopped yet attacks were pouring in as recent as yesterday even from Gargantuan himself,evidently it appears that one of his tribe mates had nothing better to do but to lie to his tribe so his tribe would blindly go and commit suicide on our walls.

It's just easier sometime to wipe out a tiny tribe without tedious negotiations. Even better when that tribe brings it to the Politics and Propaganda section of the forum so that they are an example to others.

My Philosophy is that if a small itsy bitsy tribe attacks a very much larger tribe do they really deserve to live in this world?
