In all seriousness, I think you need to go back to the diplomat school and learn the difference between private and public. Saying that some random tribe on the rim somewhere is scared of D.V, which is located in the central continents is just ludicrous. You either need to put your members on Valium or leave your tribe and find somebody a little less paranoid.

Erm... Are you actually reading everything here? We established that D.V aren't planning anything in about the 4th post. End of...

And sure, maybe i'm paranoid about things. But isn't that the nature of this game? Having to second guess other peoples intentions, even those in your own tribe at times. Maybe it was foolish to think about the possibility of D.V planning something. But long range warfar does happen doesn't it?

My point is that we should have done this in private.

You want to make propaganda against my tribe and then you expect me not to get angry about it?

If I were you, I'd have ended this conversation around this post, saying something like "I'm really sorry to make it public PRIOR to trying to solve it via IGMs, and I'm very thankful for the fast and calming reply. I promise that next time I'll try to solve such diplomatic issues via IGM first".

To make an example, DoF2 has also made a topic against _KOH_ some weeks ago, the main differnce is that we have tried to solve our problems via IGMs for weeks prior to posting anything on this public forum... though I can say now, that wasn't a perfect solution neither, and also, this is somewhat a bad example, as finally, we couldn't solve our problems with them, and they simply "forgot" to continue the conversation as soon as we switched from the public medium to private messages. But I think that there are some big differences between the _KOH_ and CA (or D.V) style diplomacy, and posting such an issue like this on the public forum without even trying to solve it privately first - is an insult.

Just like still arguing with their diplomat in this case - think it over, you've requested for information, you got it, it should have been ended here. I suggest you to ask for pardon and shut up immediately, before you would make that rumour about an attack against your tribe true...

Wow all you have to do is start a rumor of MCSQ's demise. Send it to MCSQ tribemate. Wait for them to forward to MCSQ and MCSQ makes the rumor happen. Yah Down fall of MCSQ again and you did it with a useless mail.

I guess you're right. When i saw what the AA duke said, I saw red. This weekend has been one of quite a few developments I've had to deal with and finally reading this message pushed me over the edge.

I would like to thank D.V for the information (although i remember thanking spleen mage before this all blew up) and would also like to appologise for going about it in this manner. Believe it or not, I didn't plan this thread. I overreacted and jumped to conclusions. I guess i'm still learning about my new responsibilities as a diplomat and struggling to let go the antagonistic tendencies of the past. (I just have so much fun arguing though:icon_cry:):icon_wink:.

And that is why i think your the worst diplomat ever.
A good diplomat doesnt reily on one source, and certainly doesnt go red, and reacts his redness of on a Duke of D.V.

It is like your screaming out: C.A. here i am, i want to gett rimmed, over and over again.

Didn't it sound weird even if you did hear rumors about CA trying to war your tribe?

1. Why would CA be even remotely interested in a tribe who's biggest member is 137K and which has only 3 members over 100K meaning CA guys gonna be in for a insane morale penalty?

2. Why would CA want to war for a minuscule benefit of 800K when their noble train would have to travel 100+ hrs ?

You are just hurting yourself more with this thread.

Well my opinion of you is that you judge too easily when someone makes mistakes. I've made my appologies to the people I've offended. It's up to them to decide whether my repentence is genuine. I'd like to urge people to consider the possibility that this thread was a lapse that won't be repeated unless in extreme circumstances. I foolishly overreacted. But guess what, human beings are sometimes fallable.

As you're the official representative of your tribe, it's far more important what the others think about you than your own opinion of yourself...
