get a good team to play with.
If you have the time you can watch some youtube videos of experienced guys to see what they are doing and see good strategies.

For a new person, don't rush into everywhere if you can't think of all the exits and paths beyond it. Stick with your team. And never spend a whole game camping, as you can miss so many kills trying to stay alive like that.
