This evolved out of an old planner I made. You'll need a program that can read .xls files. If you don't have one, you can download open office for free.

Download the Ultimate SimCity Tool

When using the construction planner, be sure to set the speed of the world you’re planning for (cell C3) and the building levels the village already has (cells AS7 through BJ7).

I color-coded the fields.

*yellow: must be filled out to get information about the current construction assignment

*orange: Things you can change

*grey: Calculated information that you shouldn’t change

Explanation of Fields

Construction Assignment

-[queue]: the slot in the queue that the construction will be added to. Adding more than 3 constructions to the queue makes your buildings more expensive.

-[next building]: the name of the building you want to construct.

-[upgrade to level]: the level you want to upgrade the building to.

Time

-[duration of construction]: The amount of time it will take to construct the assigned building.

-[current time]: The time that the previous assignment will finish being constructed (relative to the starting time)

-[begin construction at]: The time that you want to begin constructing the assigned building (relative to the starting time). By default, this is set to equal the time when you’ll have enough resources to start the construction.

Cost

-[timber]: The amount of timber it will cost to construct the building

-[clay]: The amount of clay it will cost to construct the building

-[iron]: The amount of iron it will cost to construct the building

-[total]: The total amount of resources it will cost to construct the building

Cost/time(the default measure of time for this is 1 hour)

-[timber]: The average cost of timber per time, for this construction

-[clay]: The average cost of clay per time, for this construction

-[iron]: The average cost of iron per time, for this construction

-[total]: The average total cost of all resources per time, for this construction

Stored resources

-[timber]: The amount of timber stored in the warehouse before the construction

-[clay]: The amount of clay stored in the warehouse before the construction

-[iron]: The amount of iron stored in the warehouse before the construction

Resources produced per hour

-[timber]: The amount of timber produced by the timber camp per hour

-[clay]: The amount of clay produced by the clay pit per hour

-[iron]: The amount of iron produced by the iron mine per hour

Other income (per hour estimate)

-[timber]: The amount of timber you predict to make per hour, from pillaging and/or trade

-[clay]: The amount of clay you predict to make per hour, from pillaging and/or trade

-[iron]: The amount of iron you predict to make per hour, from pillaging and/or trade

Total income per hour

-[timber]: The total amount of timber you make per hour

-[clay]: The total amount of clay you make per hour

-[iron]: The total amount of iron you make each hour

Waiting for resources

-[timber available in]: The time it takes to get enough timber to construct this building

-[timber available in]: The time it takes to get enough clay to construct this building

-[timber available in]: The time it takes to get enough iron to construct this building

-[ready in]: The time it takes to get enough of all resources to construct this building

Population

-[max]: The maximum amount of villagers the current farm will support.

-[used]: The amount of villagers that are already used.

-[available]: The amount of villagers that are available.

-[will use]: The amount of villagers that this construction will use.

Units that could be trained in the time it takes to construct this building

This section tells how many of each unit you could train in the time it takes to complete the assigned construction.

Building Levels

These are the levels of your buildings before the construction.

Population Breakdown

This tells how many villagers each building uses before the construction.

Warehouse Capacity

This is the capacity of the warehouse before the construction.

Queue

[cost modifier] This modifies the cost of the construction based on it's queue number.
