I've noticed map problems when playing on a browser in Linux

My mouse drags the screen around and doesn't show popup information. Doesn't want to right click on villages either.

go to the Settings menu, then Settings, then make sure the box beside "Compatibility view: Use the map for old browsers without scrolling" is not checked.

Well I have seen one map issue here. If you look on the world map in K-46 there is a very large cluster of villages going on that does not seem normal.
