I realized that after reading about the guy with the first noble, that these militia are another way for someone to snipe a train, which kind of sucks for me at least, because running through the numbers, even sending my usual 100 axe 100 lc escort, the noble would still die with no wall and 300 militia.

I really don't like the idea, it's why I stopped playing Grepolis, the new players would only use militia, and I didn't get the points for killing them but I still lost troops.
Then learn how to attack properly:icon_surprised: I honestly cant remember being sniped.

Then send a sub-sec train.

If the player you are attacking is able to click the button to recruit militia during your say ~500ms train, then they are more than capable of splitting your train anyway.

^ This about having your train split by militia. It won't be an issue.

However Moonstruck, the fact you don't remember having a train split does make me think you haven't targeted anyone particularly good. It doesn't take a genius to work out that canceled commands return at the same ms they are sent. Makes splitting with a single village very easy in fact, as you can have dozens of attempts just sending the attacks so they would land in the same ms as the train, and then canceling in the correct second which is easy enough.

Ive rimmed "big" names, I just know how to attack. Its a team sport firstly, so when I set up an opp to take out sneggy, who can snipe .005 seconds, I simply had 4 people attack him with 4 nukes and 1 noble.. Normally though I start with a co-train and split the armies.. Or I target a small village to start and build a noble train very fast and use personal co-trains. :) Its knowing how to attack not mash buttons.

I presume your a start-up whore then. (I don't mean that offensively, it's just what a certain kind of player is labled)

At the multiple village stage (like a few, not just "2"), doing the above will get you into a world of pain.

Not necessarily. :x Having a nuke + 2 nobles from 2 different vills lets you have a 50ms train if done right. That's a lot harder to snipe than the typical 150ms. Co-trains ftw.

They're just a lot more effort to set up. :')

Well in my opinion militia is only good for early game, which is why you can only use it when you have one village.
I had to use mine two times already and i didnt use it to kill my opponents troops just to weaken them then i back timed them so i lost less offensive troops as he lost most of his troops on my wall / militia.

But later in the game when people get around half nukes and sucks its pretty much pointless as they suck against axes completely.

Here the report of the noob i back timed :D

Sorry dont know any good report converters.

(please note this was a while back my farm is much higher now :icon_razz:)

The subject is militia, they only exist when you have one village.:icon_neutral: I must assume you are either ignorant, or just looking for the last word/to be correct.

Ive built 5 million point accounts in the past though.

"As soon as you own more than 2 villages, you can no longer set up any militias"

Isnt that exactly what I said:icon_neutral:

more than 2 > 2 <> >=2 right or ?

woulldn't it be "As soon as you own 2 villages, you can no longer set up any militias" in what you said ?

I want explanation >.<

Never played with militia anyway, that's what I understood with what's written in the farm.

I can be wrong anyway, explanations wanted :)

I always send sub second trains, I was saying it's yet another way for someone to snipe, like, if I had cleared them completely and the village should be mine for the taking, they can just call on militia.

Yes, too much effort for my lazy behind. I prefer sending trains under a second, accompanied with 2k+ attacks. Tiger knows what I mean. :icon_wink:

Don't understand why you said you built 5 mill plus accnts, bragging? Just get a siggy like mine :icon_biggrin: as for militia and late game, it doesn't matter about late game, as it shouldn't be late game that you have a full nuke. I'm sure for allot for players already they aren't hurting their game much.

:icon_confused: He asked if I was merely a start up whore, I answered his question stating the largest account I had built. Read things in their entirety. :)

Again read things in their entirety. As was previously mentioned Militia do not exist once you have 3 villages so yeah really try reading you wont look as dumb:icon_neutral:
