I'm new to the game. My friend who used to play told me how to start well, but it was with a Paladin. How do you start off well without one instead?

guide this is a pretty good start up guide for new players, the lack of a paladin doesn't make much of a difference other then you'll have to send swords or axes along with spears when you start farming so you don't keep losing them on walls, just play with the ig simulator to see what kind of axe/ sword escort your spears need

and ignore the jerks posting annoying things. thats the reason people quit, they ask for advice and nobody wants to help. aka kkaukis and smellstribal. screw you guys.

I agree with flowtech on this one, the tw community is dying cause the pros aren`t willing to help the newbies.

Also regarding that wall building...if your offensive don't bother, build up your barracks/stable instead :p your only gonna be dodging attacks anyways.

I'm assuming that you're going to play W60? If so, you'll get troops from the in-game quests (and so do future worlds), so you can easily play (IE farm) without the Paladin. Start out on the rim or semi-rim (IE a few days after a world starts), there won't be as many experienced players there, and you should grow fairly well.

I'm gonna advise you against heavy offense in start up, yes more Axes and LC seems good for farming and clearing of your first villa for nobling, but in reality, the threat of being attacked is very real at start up. Try to go for a mixed troop build for your first few villas, you can easily farm with def troops too, and there are different approaches to clearing a villa than just plain nuking.

If you want to be successful from the start, sad to say, activity abuse is the way to go when you're new to the game. Farm hard, play smart, and read guides to broaden your TW knowledge. This game isn't all that hard to get used to, you should get the hang of it after a couple of weeks of playing.

Cheers!

If you know how to do it, playing entirely offensive for the 1st village can easily be the best way to start the game. However it takes experience and time to make it work.

Kkaukis was simply saying W60 would be easier because of the tutorials :)

Hi, no I joined W59. I just was wondering if anyone has like a list type thing of what to do first, second, blah blah blah. Like, when do I up my resources compared to the walls to when I get which type of fighter etc. I was starting to follow this one that was posted by Purple Predator, but it doesn't have you up walls until a long time. I'm just wondering if anyone else has a scripted kinda thing on how they start up that I could take a gander at. If you don't want to share, I understand...just want to have fun and actually do kinda well at this game. :)

Best way to start without Paladin: Go on a non-Paladin world.
