The minimum amount of spears to make a farming run worth it (in general) is 7 spears. You lost a spear but gain a few res more than your lost.
6 spears is the minimal amount for a gain of ressources but you actually lost wood so if you plan making spears. Better wait until you have 1 more. (my opinion)
