My members are doing that, they will be rimmed by another tribe though. This world has pretty much reached the point where if u don't have a good amount of points/villages u r done.
Thats not true. SH is right, the northeast would give you sufficient time to create a headland. Also the south west is probably a bit softer than the south east or northwest.

Unfortunately, yes. ~IMP~ is in the southwest, and is "softer" to new recruits than all other tribes in the top 10. You might survive for a good amount of time in the northwest as long as you aren't dumped in K40 or K4. Yea, you're basically done if your new to the world.
