Dear Community,
Today we want to share an update following the recent changes in the Community Management team. As you may already know, JawJaw left his position as Community Manager last month and following that, decisions were made to change the structure of the Community Management team. Not only would it be difficult to find a successor matching JawJaw’s incredible commitment, but it is also a matter of making more efficient use of already having several Community Managers tied to the market.
Since the merges of the Croatian, Slovenian, Thai, Norwegian, Danish and Swedish versions we are a truly International, multi lingual market and community and now it is time to integrate everyone into a full, International Community Management Team.
This means that moving forward we will have a Community Management Team consisting of:
• Jirki88 – previously Co-Community Manager for the EN part of the community
• Toon – previously Community Manager for the TH part of the community
• Beeferino – previously Community Manager for the DK part of the community
• Mafa3k – previously Community Manager for the NO part of the community
• SuperNova – previously Community Manager for the SE part of the community
There are no Community Managers for the Croatian (HR) and Slovenian (SI) parts, since Wicked and Motorka left.
You might know some of us already, either from the merged markets or from your support tickets, while others may be completely new to you. For some of us there will not be much difference in work and responsibilities, but for others this new structure will take some time to adapt to. There are undoubtedly challenges for us with this transition that has to be handled while also managing everyday responsibilities with support, planning and administration. We will however all do our best to make sure that this does not affect the community and players.
We are all dedicated to continue the work forward with the same passion, and commitment that JawJaw made the standard for this wonderful community and we want to take this opportunity to also share some appreciation of the hard work he put in: It’s speaks volumes when the position you leave requires five people to replace you. You will be missed and we will keep your legacy alive by continuing on the path you set up.
The path from here forward will be unifying and integrating the now somewhat scattered remnants of the old, merged communities and teams into one. This will of course bring challenges, both technical and otherwise but we are confident that we will be able to handle these together in a beneficial way for the entire community.
We appreciate your patience as we all try to adjust going forward.
