Please Note
This is a simple summary of the rules. The complete set of rules can be found here (for those of you that are especially interested). If you are an intelligent and mature poster, though, reading through the following should be more than enough for you to be able to make your own judgement calls about the posts that you make in the future.

Off-topic Posting

This world suffers from inactivity, therefore I am lenient in this category. If a conversation strays off-topic, but I can see that it's still being kept friendly and fun - I will leave it. Even if there are one worded posts, silly references etc. Reporting your enemies for every little thing simply because you don't like them will get you nowhere with me. I will ignore such reports.

I would however like to encourage posters to take their completely random postings to the General Discussion section of the forums. You will notice that I often move threads to that section when their content is not as relevant to the PnP of the world as it could be.

-Warnings will be issued if the off-topic posting is generally harmful and results in a nonconstructive flame-war that is irrelevant to the topic at hand.
-Infractions will be issued in the same situation as above, but to those that have a history of receiving multiple warnings/infractions in the past.

EXTRA NOTE: Obviously Spam/Advertisements fall under this same category. I don't believe they require an elaborate explanation.

Inappropriate Language

Anything deemed by the moderator as 'inappropriate' is rightfully so. You do not question my intentions behind an edit/deletion of a post, and you do not accuse me of being unfair. There are no 'points of view' or 'opinions' when it comes to this. I have the list of which words are inappropriate and which are acceptable memorized in my head as part of my duty. You respect that. End of.

Please note that starring out characters like "F*ck" does not make it any less a swear word. It is still perfectly understandable and still intentionally offensive, and thus is forbidden in all forms. This is Similarly the case for Acronyms such as GTFO or STFU. The meanings are known, and they are warnable or infractable offences.

-Warnings will be issued to first time offenders, or for mild cases where the language is not as obviously inappropriate and could be open up for interpretation to non-moderator individuals.
-Infractions will be issued to those with a history of warnings/infractions in this area, as well as to those that use truly adult language in their posts.

Insulting Other Members

- Insulting someone's personality, intelligence or social status in relation to their real life is strictly forbidden.
(Conflict between rivals is allowed and welcomed on the forums, but it has to be strictly in-game based. You can call someone a bad leader, but by no means are you to call them a 'stupid basement dweller')
- Pointing out the grammatical errors of another individual is strictly forbidden.
(People on TW come from all sorts of different backgrounds from all over the world. Some never finished High School, while others could only be in the beginning stages of learning the English language. Insulting people for such inferiorities is very offensive)

EXTRA NOTE: 'Playful' insults between friends are also forbidden, because the moderator is supposed to remain objective to all cases and therefore can not differentiate between whether it's a real problem or just playful teasing. If you feel the need to make fun of your tribemates spelling or intelligence 'for teh lulz', please do so in private messages.

Discussing Moderation

Everything that is sent to you by a moderator is supposed to remain between you and that mod. There is to be no quoting it on the forums, no discussing it - not even the slightest mention of it is allowed. If you still feel that you have been treated unfairly after trying to talk things out with your mod, you can contact the Elder Moderator (Iceco) for this world regarding your concerns about the warning/infraction you received. Posting about it on the forums will only get you into more trouble.

Other
Signature rule violations

[spoil]The signature may not exceed 700px in width or 80px in height. This is the maximum size limit for the entire sig, not for individual components. Two pictures of 80px in height one above the other = 160px, and is thus illegal. Any combination of items that exceeds a total of 700px by 80px is illegal and will be punished.

Below is a list of the height values in pixels we have assigned the different items your signature may contain:
A line of normal-sized text (size 2) = 15px
A line of small text (size 1) = 10px
A blank line = 15px
A bb-code quote (1 line) = 65px
A bb-code quote (2 or 3 lines) = 80px
Spoiler = 50px
A picture = whatever height it has (viewable by right-clicking it and selecting properties)
Forum-native emotes = 15 px

Please Note:
-Items not listed above are not allowed to be used in your signature.
-Animated pictures of any kind are prohibited; note that this includes the animated emoticons provided by the forum.
-Quote generators are illegal.
-The rules regarding the Content of posts (see above) also apply to the content of signatures, though we are stricter on images containing sexual references or connotations in signatures.
-Signatures inside Spoiler Tags may not exceed 700px in width, nor 300px in height.
-Everything within a spoiler must be within the rules (posting rules and signature rules), except it's allowed to have it higher than 80 px.[/spoil]
Extreme Content

[spoil]Anything deemed politically or religiously extreme, pornographic, illegal, or unsavory in any way is prohibited in this game whether posted or referenced. Racist or ethnic bashing comments are forbidden even if used in jest. Mentioning drugs is allowed, but comments that play down the use of illegal drugs or promote the use of said substances are strictly forbidden. [/spoil]

Due to recent events that have occurred in this community, I must now ask all posters to refrain from using derogatory name-calling when addressing one another on the W29 forums.
This includes terms such as 'kiddo', 'bigbird' etc.
They spark too much unnecessary tension, and bait users into rule breaking.

Regards,
FrailBeauty
