Wall and troops question

To what level should I have my wall upgraded to by the time my 5 days of newbie protection ends?

About how many troops should I plan on having?

that depends on your character and the players arround... i think the best approach is being aggressive, so no wall and a large amount of troops... how many is also a difficult question, depends on how many barbs you have around you for farming before bp ends. put it this way... you want to have LC before bp ends, and everything that doesn't go towards that, goes towards troops :)

It depends on your environment. I'd go more agressive, as catapults aren't about yet you can dodge any attacks. Agressive players will grow faster, and you won't go as well being defensive early on.
