I wasnt around when you were warring cialis but i seriously doubt they were 5x your size...if you won the war.

From this post that includes the sizes of T-T and Cialis who NOB!! was warring. Added together, this gives 22.802.550 points v 3.196.077 points. That means that Nob!! was 7.1345 times smaller. Check your facts next time.

NOB!! were 4-5 mill or thereabouts, and when we merged into T-T as in (cialis) we were around 21 mill i think so 4x + the academy tribe but i cant remember the exact size T-T was all in all

Also in the news this week is the newly announced NOB!! v ??? war. The Artemis: You guys mention the main reason for war with ??? was "because you could", then defined all of their members as refugees. Why did you actually choose ??? specifically out of your many neighbors as a target for war? Both MASK or -V- would also have been viable war targets.

the invitaion of Falles would have to have been the closer, we told them not to invite him as we were wrapping up our TBE fun so we could do him and bluenose on tour(they were buddy's), we helped Raid war with POP way back when, lol, and they ran off to OMEN and Cialis as spy contacts for the Omen leadership, so we've been patiently waiting for the right time to take him

Who on this world didn't know that Nob!! and ~Raid~ were buddies???

Maybe I take for granted being part of a well run leadership team, one that makes an effort of collecting as much solid intel as possible. One that waits for the right time to act and choses sometimes to not act until every detail has been addressed.

I have not found myself in a situation like this on world 39 because proper planning, diplomacy and preparation have always been implemented.

The 1337 v The N00B- Part III: Where's the War Gone?
[spoil]Before I delve into this next article, I'd like to stress that unlike some of my tribemates, I am unbiased in the TDE F v MASK war. That said, I do have a standing bet that the war will end in under two months with at least one of the involved tribes disbanding and its members merging and reforming and little to know change having happened due to actual war (low ennoblements, etc). Bet was made about two weeks ago, so you guys have six more weeks to endure. :icon_wink:

It's quite easy to see how I would get this opinion. MASK (and a few members of TDE now) came from the ruins of several failed tribes. Those Cobra/82nd/SIKE/MASK/etc members (forgive me if I missed some of the other tribes in the sequence) have been tribe hopping for months. Little to no headway was ever made in their wars before they popped into a new tribe, leaving the previous one in ruins. After the collapse of SIKE, these members yet again went to find themselves new homes, but this time the enemy swallowed several, as TDE recruited themselves to first from a much lower ranking. MASK, as a new tribe, obviously did the same.

Because of this, I was beginning to think quite early on that TDE would quickly gain the upperhand in the war, cause many MASK members to leave, and the tribe would disband within a month of its formation. This may not have been the scenario I favored, but it seemed likely given the high weekly stats TDE was pulling early in the war. This was followed by claims from MASK of "inactivity", "I just got a life", etc, which lead to them being thoroughly mocked. Yet as the war has continued, it is becoming increasingly obvious that those claims might in fact have been quite true.

This brings to mind the question hat happened to TDE? Where did the killer offense go? I must say that I was a bit disappointed to realize that TDE were exactly what they appeared to be, a mass recruiting family, not a top tribe. Especially with the fallacy involving the annihilation of their troops with ill-timed, improperly stacked villages, the belief was firm in mind that they had not matured as a tribe.

As a whole, MASK was regaining forum popularity with their better stats against TDE. This worked well with their posts cricizing TDE's mass recruitment and lack of offensive in the war. That was until they recruited NMS in a merge pushing them to rank 1. The claims for this merge include "an extension of their border with the T.D.E F" and "we were fighting a common enemy, so why not?". (Anyone notice a NOB!! and ~RAID~ merge yet?)

So since the merge is purely for war, we should be seeing some significant war stats then, right? Wrong again. In the last week, MASK has had just thirteen conquers against the T.D.E F. The T.D.E F has had just three in return.

Where has this taken us? To be quite honest, it's gone full circle back to my original belief. The whole war is a facade for the internal hugging that is taking place. Every couple months it collapses, realigns itself, and begins anew. How long will this continue? Riddle me this.[/spoil]

Nob!! v ???
[spoil]This week, NOB!! stepped back into the realm of warfare with their declaration upon ???. They cited reasons of war including the recruitment of targets and the attack of an ally, ~RAID~.

Now for a bit of background on the ~RAID~ and ??? war. The war was first announced to the world four weeks ago in my first newspaper. It came as a bit of shock given that ~RAID~ had been doing decent against -V-. Stats now totale 252 - 56 in the favor of ???.

This thus becomes a bit of an embarrassment for NOB!! seeing their ally being pummelled. Coupled with their desire for a new war, NOB!! prepares for action. Preparations were completed, and NOB!! opened a second front, slamming ??? from the rear.

Now we should consider how "good" this war could be. NOB!! is 2.5 times bigger than ???. ~RAID~ is close to the same. Together, ??? is outnumbered almost 5:1. This is certainly possible odds, although it is interesting that NOB!! would intentionally choose to war a tribe so much smaller than they are. Certainly one would think a tribe who plays the game "for fun" would seek their greatest challenge, not an easy victory.

Yet the greatest question plaguing the minds of readers is "Who's gonna win?". It is safe to say that ??? would be hard pressed to resist the power of NOB!!, particularly when they are also being hit by ~RAID~. Perhaps other tribes may choose the moment to join in the fun, but with just two days into the war, it will be weeks before we get a glimpse of the bigger picture.[/spoil]

I would just like to point out that we knew about the Raid/NOB alliance, being former Raid members and all... we just didn't care. This war was going to happen eventually, so we thought we'd kick things off with the weaker link. We burned bridges because we didn't like the management... and lets be honest, what did the management show us in our war?

Yes ??? has been doing well against us.

Their first attack has been a complete success.
They've attack the spot they knew weak without any warning or declaration breaking the non aggression pact.

Their main target were semi active members far from V (k72-73) with almost empty vills (since they were supporting the V frontlines).
Great job theses players were wipout instantly.
Their other targets are the few vills we had left in k74 completly surronded by ???.

It tooks us some time to organise but
If we continue to loose ground in k74 we did manage to stop them and regain some ground in k72 (knowing that our more offensive players didn't start attacking ???).
Their last attemp to wipe us from k73 failed so does in k72.
If you look at stats closely it has been more than 2 weeks they didn't manage to take us vills in thoses k, but our ODD is growing fast there.

Now ??? will also have to fight on 2 side which means less stacking near us and less mass nuking so good luck, you're going to need it !

In all fairness to ???, NOB and V respected their borders and RAID did not. After the collapse of CastorZ, RAID was sending noble trains smack dab in the middle of ??? to get his former villas. We were able to come to terms with the other tribes about how to divvy up CastorZ former villas. It certainly was your right since there technically is no claims to barb cities, but how did you think we would react? Just sit by and let you take cities that there was no possible way you could defend effectively? To say the least we were not happy about it. Plus, I believe it was you rook who also instigated this war by taking barb cities left and right inside of ??? northern territories. How did you think we would react to this? By rolling out the red carpet? Lets face it, you guys didn't respect us and were constantly antagonizing us.

We didn't know what to do, but we needed to stop the constant RAID infiltration into our territory. We found it more ironic that you were doing more attacking in our region than against -V- who you were at war with. The only solution was to go to war with you. We apologize for not giving you a war declaration, but we weren't a top ten tribe (at the time), you were at the time 4X larger than us, and most of us didn't come to the forums (until artemis's nice in-game PM's to come check out his work...which is very nice.). If you feel disrespected, then we all sincerely apologize.

None the less, it will be a fun war. Good luck to both RAID and NOB. If we die, then we die, but I didn't want to sit around and attack barbs. That's boring. I would rather have the honor of being rimmed by quality opponents then quitting due to pure boredom.

--respected borders? laz nobled some of castorz barbs in his area?, the disrespect was inviting a new member clearly within our territory (knowing we were coming for him no matter what tribe he ran to next, even Raid, where he was also trying for an invite), they respected us by telling him to restart, you chose this war by inviting him, I was hoping to maybe have a reason to respect you, beside dragyness being all coy

This all after pleading a case to us to stay out of the Raid War (which we did, for the most part...) because you heard rumour of a merge that would put you at a disadvantage, asking for a favor with one hand, and offering our target refuge with another, tsktsk

??? WAS Raid, that rebelled against the leadership, NOB had an alliance with ??? through Raid until that defection, and even attempted to recruit to make us whole again... ??? created a Gap in our border with our ally... we attempted a few alternatives to close that gap, castorz passed on his ego to the rest of you it seems

Your point would be valid only if you possessed the skill of Cialis because there is a big difference between waging a war vs less experianced tribe but 7x your size...and a more experianced tribe then yours + 5x your size.......

But eitherway its irrelevant now...continue your ??? convo and dont let me distract you

Yep, it's a much more fair war now, with a combined total of more than 55 mil points v 11.5 mil. From I what can see of this, ??? you should be honored as they're obviously quite afraid of you. :icon_wink:

Stop using falles as an excuse to attack us. You were planning to attack us all along with or without falles in our tribe. If it makes you look honorable on the message boards to keep using your falles excuse, then so be it. It's a game of war anyways, so who cares. At one point you wanted draggy to join NOB and then have her attack us as well. Stop with the who shot john speak already. We knew what was up and did the best we could to navigate our way through it. If we die, then we die.

Not that surprising really. ??? have a sizeable presence in several Ks immediately adjacent to our own areas. Living down in K83/84/85 it's pretty hard to expand southward...

Now we should consider how "good" this war could be. NOB!! is 2.5 times bigger than ???. ~RAID~ is close to the same. Together, ??? is outnumbered almost 5:1.

It won't be a 'good' war, unless ??? members can display some real talent, but it keeps us ticking over while we prep for the important one to follow.

So far, falles is proving far from fun. He's about as challenging as nobling barbs. At least his tribes-mates further West are trying to do something.

And the majority of what NOB has taken from Falles is K 75, in the heart of NOB territory - resources are perhaps better used elsewhere, eh?
